    This was very inspiring to me as a male student at Purdue Global, Professor Gilbreth was one of my first research papers. Truly inspiring leader and I am proud to be a part of the same program she cherished so much. Go Boilermakers

    I read that Purdue has the motion study films the Gilbreths made. Have they made any of those surviving films available online?

    An inspiration that one can be a professional but also a mother. If you think about it, what is more complex and elegant ‘engineered’ than new human life?

    ACTUALLY THEY ON HAD 11CHILDREN THEIR 2ND DAUGHTER MARY DIED OF DIPTHERA IN 1912 AGE 6

      She actually died at 5 before her 6th birthday

      She still had 12 children. The fact that one died in childhood doesn't negate that. Hopefully you don't ever say something like that IRL to someone who has lost a child.
