The Perth Mint's 125th Anniversary 2024 2oz Silver Proof Gilded Coin:
Reflecting the Mint’s best-known contemporary coin series, the release portrays a kangaroo, kookaburra, and koala artistically arranged within a representation of golden wattle, Australia’s national floral emblem. As well as the coin’s edge and rims, each animal is gilded in 24-carat gold. The inscription ‘1899 THE PERTH MINT 2024’ appears in a scroll at the foot of the design. Also included are a ‘P125’ mintmark and the coin’s weight, purity, and year-date.

👍 Thanks for showing them off Dan. I think the 1oz gilded and coloured coins are the gems of the series. I think I prefer the 1oz gilded over the 2oz gilded version because I’m a big fan of reverse proof coins. All the best. 🍻

Hi Dan, were the capsules closed tight on the 4 coin set ? mine were able to be pushed slightly more to seal them.
