I spotted one of these in my local Waitrose supermarket car park the other week and posted a short of it on my channel. Good to see a more in depth look at it. You’re looking and sounding bright and chirpy too, which is always good to see. Thought Paul was a good addition too 😀 That reverse set up, what happens if your completely out of charge? You have to sit and wait for the engine to regenerate some?
Not a big fan of McLaren but it's the brand of supercar I've been seeing the most of in the summer months. The long tail is as beautiful as the Figoni et Felaschi coachbuilt cars of the 1930's, but mostly the other models lack something style wise. Thanks for the video Seb
Apparently the weird hybrid behavior is a thing with this car, garnering much confusion and associated criticism. Probably the biggest fault with the vehicle ... that and the engine runs unusually hot.
@@Natak222 yeah because they don’t know how it operates. Nice it goes through its initial warm up it’s instant in its usability. Same as charging, if you want max charge, in other modes than track, all you need do is pull the a stalk back when in the mode you want to travel in 🤷🏻♂️
@@Natak222 it’s like anything. If you plonk yourself down, assume how things work and proceed accordingly then this is what happens. It’s different in that the brakes don’t regen it, it’s different that upon initial start up the engine cycles until it’s warm. Knowing both these things means you literally have no issues (apart from build quality etc 🤣). The guys are car journos, they are reviewing a car. The least you should expect is they spend 5 minutes learning any peculiarities of any vehicle.
I am so very sad for you young(er) people… You donot even know the correct names for car parts. Mr. Delanney, whet you call the “dash” is incorrect. The “dash” has NEVER existed in a car. It is known as the “dashboard.” And this is the surface mounted top of the interior in which the steering wheel comes out from. It encompasses left to right of the vehicle. Where the instrument dial and etcetera is has ALWAYS been known as the “BINNACLE”. Please re-educate your channel followers to these facts. And as your neighbours are concerned… * uck them. You are allowed to make noise. That is why we have noise levels. After my gripe; I very much enjoy your type and style of your English-speaking videos. Please keep your style type if you can. Dave
A number of rather unnecessary comments, but I guess everyone is entitled to their opinions, pity you can't spell correctly. I've subscribed to Sebs channel for a number of years now and enjoyed sharing some of his experiences with him. Good to see Paul too. :-)
One of the best reviews !!! Seb is highly entertaining!!! Great job!!!
What a great Duo, Paul
Is a great friend!!! Love seeing you both happy!!!
I hadn't really paid attention to McLaren lately but this looks great and seems surprisingly practical despite its wild appearance
2 of the most likeable RUclipsrs
Paul is so funny 😁 i remember i followed him when shmee was in gumball and stuff.
I’m very impressed with this! Great video

All I know is it's Nut's on the F1 pc game...Ha !!

There's nothing weird about ti apart from some youtbers jumping in it and not knowing how the car works.
@@dajjy Many car reviewers have mentioned it's strange hybrid engine

@@dajjy Oh I’m assuming you own one? Whatever the case, maybe ‘unintuitive’ is a better way to explain their hybrid system

When the car has been lent to you by the manufacturer your review is hardly going to be objective
I heard shmee did a Philip Scofield to you
I love the Mclaren Artura.😊 Will get it, one day…
Love your videos Seb. You should upload more frequently.
Mclaren never dissapoints 👌
thanks for your vid seb have a good week end
I could probably make it work on some level or another 😅😄
Break Regen is no have and don't try compare McLaren vs Ferrari ok McLaren is top and is have all best quality vs any Ferrari ok
Great video; finally, somebody who truly tests the daily capability by showing you the amount of luggage you can pack in the car!
My problem will be snow storm and insurance. I suspect that a lambo might be able to handle snow storm.
Never thought i'd say the DB12 looks just as interesting
Awesome Car, Awesome Duo, awesome review.
Nice color combination as well
The music is sooo annoying n outdated
Dude, it really suits you.
Nice review bro ✅
nice
