Sounded great, David! The middle section reminded me a bit of the music in "Legend of Zelda," that kind of epic, Renaissance sound. Even though Calatayud was a 20th century composer, it seems to have those influences (probably from the "Cantigas de Santa Maria"?) 😎
Wow! I just started learning this song and discovered your video. Great to hear it at that exciting tempo. Is that a spruce top or cedar top on your guitar? The sound is so bright…
Hi Jason, that’s great to hear you’re working on some Calatayud! My guitar is a Spruce top with Madagascar Rosewood back and sides built by Anders Sterner ( www.sternerguitars.com ) it’s a really special instrument and a joy to play!

Hello David, May I know what strings you're using? They sound really sweet.
This guitar is set up with D'Addario EJ45's. :)
