If you think about it, the whole project is genius. Famous people have created character versions of themselves for decades. Everyone from Marilyn Monroe to Beyoncé has done it. Maybe that's the only way for the actress playing Poppy to maintain a somewhat normal life while living her dreams as an entertainer. Plus nowadays it's not enough to be just talented and pretty. Today's pop stars need to grab and hold your attention. Poppy and Titanic Sinclair have created that.

And also, if you go to her channel where she makes these videos with her character, she has made videos dating pretty close to this video with her character, so no Poppy is not her real personality, it is just a fun character. She's obviously very smart as well, because she makes money off of the publicity of "Poppy".
