I have a problem that these videos greatly help with but did not completely solve. Wonder if you would do another video explaining Soft Limits. I can not wrap my head around them and I think you could help me understand them. Can I save these set-ups somehow?
Sir your mean when on mach3 controller first we click machine coordinates button then click reference all home, when machine get home position then we again click machine coordinates button i mean machine coordinates button off then takes x,y, z position,we don't on machine coordinates button during xyz zero position set, only when we homing machine mandatory on the machine coordinates button but after machine homing, switch off machine coordinates button,then set x,y,z zero position, without on machine coordinates button.am i right sir please tell me
Curious once you have gone through the process of setting the work offset how do you save that? and work with it one day shut the machine down and then come to it another day and work off the same offset?
I am also new to this, and we have done like this for a while, but I don't think this is a proper way. In my opinion, you put this mdf in that spot. Let's say you want to use this spot for some other mdf in 2-3 days, weeks. How will you find that spot again?
If your soft limits are activated then go to zero brings you to those coordinates. They were off in this video so that's why it went to what he set. You can set offsets and save it so it will always be at that point for cutting sheets for example. In this example you need to set it up for the part manually

I do the same way, but when I start my G code from Fusion 360 the tool goes somewhere else on machines absolute 0. Tried G53 and G55 didn't help
