The other place in Schoodic where scenery can overwhelm with extreme emotions as one right word after another never comes is the Anvil Trail a place as enchanting and sublime as that strange white light only seen in half remembered childhood dreams The Bible tells the whole earth is full of His glory and so i have come to believe Scenery is indeed God's other Book.
Ayuh, I grew up in the Bangor/Brewer are and my friends and I would spend most of our spare time climbing around on those rocks, smelling the ocean air, feeling the sea breeze and exploring every nook and cranny. I don't know who and how this hike got compared to Angel's landing in Utah. This is nothing like Angels landing. Even halfway up to Scott's landing will make you huff and puff. But Angels landing is far more dangerous than this hike. Believe me I'm not trying to knock you. I'm happy to see you out there with your family having a great time.
If you only see schoodic you missed out winter harbor has amazing history look up Fitzy Dixon links back to titanic . If you didn't go to Grindstone point you missed out. Walking trails . Born and raised when was a kid I swept the side walks every year for free had town clean up day. Low tide walk on mud look for little hole stick finger in pull clam out you can get your own to cook .I've trucked over USA and eastern Canada no place like home .

We were there early fall of 2019. September should be a great time. Temps will often be a little cool in that area.
