Thank you so much for watching! I say I make these videos for me, but really I make them cause I love hearing what you have to say about them. I don't think I could keep it up if I were vlogging in a void, although sometimes it does feel that way. I'm trying to get better at it though. I've been treating this vlog like an after thought, but to be totally honest, it's about the only thing I've got going for me right now. So, expect some new weird videos coming your way soon!

I love this video SO MUCH. WHY OH WHY is there such a strange insecurity with putting work on RUclips when it comes to filmmakers? After all my time in the filmmaking world, I’ve never felt more satisfied and opportunistic than after I started my channel and putting my own content out there. I fully believe every filmmaker should be creating their own channel. If ANYTHING just to be constantly challenging themselves to not only put content out there, but to stop caring so much about it being this perfect cinematic masterpiece!!

Yeah, I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to figure this out. I think it’s a lot because RUclips is thought to be a “lesser art form” than traditional filmmaking. Which, I get. Sometimes it is. But that doesn’t mean that I can’t treat my videos like I treat my films. I think the line is becoming blurred especially with things like Bo Burnham’s Inside and Joel Haver’s whole filmography. And ultimately, all I want is to be making things as consistently as possible and this is the best way for me to do that!
