During last holiday I over worked. 6 days working for 2 consecutive weeks. I was shot to go to bed. And Forestella popped up on RUclips. Decided just listen to the songs to go to sleep by closing my eyes. But I was right awake and up until 2:30 AM for two consecutive nights. I felt so excited to find this group so I could not even go to sleep. From that moment I am addicted to this group. 💞🍑💖Luv U Forestella! The members (from left to right on the rising platform and at the end) are Ko Woorim, Kang Hyungho, Cho Mingyu, and Bae Doohoon. Woorim: bass, 27 years old, classically trained opera singer. Hyungho: tenor/falsetto sopranist, 34 years old, no formal training - he was the vocalist of an amateur rock band, and previously worked as a chemical engineer and researcher. Mingyu: tenor, 32 years old, classically trained opera singer. Doohoon: tenor, 36 years old, musical actor. This show was produced by the television station KBS. Hence the fantastic staging. Well-known artists compete against each other and reinterpret legendary songs. FORESTELLA has won this contest for the 6th time in a row. In South Korea, this phenomenal group is extremely popular. They are NOT "K-POP" per se and as a small group outside of K-Pop machine, they have had a very hard time getting global attention. Still an insider tip outside of Korea, but under a new label and with hard work on the way to well-deserved worldwide recognition. Because these gifted talents deserve world fame.
I just want add little more tip of info of KBS(Korean Broadcasting Service) Immortal Songs which professional singer singing competition. They are held once a week. And who ever wins I believe(I could be wrong, I do not watch that show all the time. I just watched the news about ForeStella winning) they go for final competition which is twice a year. Meaning it is held only twice a year for final competition. So ForeStella won 6 consecutive times of the Final competition. Not only once, 6 consecutive times of winning of final trophy, which is 3 years in a row that competition they won. That means they broke the record. They are already a legend group with that record, a lots of respect. Once Michael Bolton was on that show as a legend singer and giving comment about singers.
