LOL I had to come to the comments to find out if that really happened. I wasn't sure if it was a translation thing since we have to work around the translation sometimes. Luckily, I skipped to the end as I always do to make sure this isn't a case of horrible, tyrannical, slow-witted, abusive ML who is forgiven by the FL because passes the blame or claims ignorance and takes a knife or a car bumper for her even though he's been an active participant and enabler in her abuse. Those are a hard no for me.
Agreed. He has no right to hate her. He covered up his wife's crimes for years. He should be in prison with her. The fact that the FL didn't completely destroy him was already more kindness than he deserved. She wasn't even going to tell him his son wasn't his. He forced her hand. He provided his wife with a fake alibi so he had no right to hate her. The son does have a right to hate her. She even told him that she will not blame him if he seeks revenge against her one day. I agree that the ML is disgusting for reinforcing that hate and grooming his son to grow up to be a vindictive ruthless person. I actually think that the FL would probably end her life before the son ever gets old enough to seek revenge. She avenged her husband, but the cost was too great. She's obviously ate up with guilt and has nothing in her life to give her purpose anymore. If this story continued I think the FL would choose to join her husband long before that kid could grow up to seek revenge.

Я думала китайцы более близки европейским традиц. , но оказалось они более близки к мусульманам. Месть, в любой момент могут отказаться от договорённостей, многоженство. Многоженство у мусульман открытое., в Китае скрытое. Мы больше знаем про гаремы и про, то что у мусульмане имеют право иметь несколько женщин. яПро Китай читали, да и опубликовано мало статей про их семейную жизнь. По факту у китайцев одна жена оформленная, через домовую книгу и ещё есть( сяо сан) вторая жена. У богатых еду кроме 2 жён есть ещё наложницы. Как было при феодализме, так и осталось. ML: Yu Long It is not a cut and dry revenge plot. Plan is not well executed and also not well thought. When you throw emotions in the midst then the plans go awry because she is unable to follow through(literally backs out) by coquettish means to ensnarl the ML. It could have had a different ending (outcome)with her getting married to the ML and adopting the child. But unfortunately hatred prevails because the FL did not follow ML's way and because of her, his perfect impeccable image in the society crumbles and the the cycle of revenge continues. FL is a good actress. I have seen her play strong women roles in dramas. PS: I kinda find the plot messy. The FL character is not meticulous in her approach. That is the reason one does not sense the feeling of victory in the end, instead, one is left with a bitter taste in the aftermath, leaving the viewers disappointed or unsatisfied in the end.

The ending was sucky, I didn’t like it. The ml isn’t even a biological father to that kid and he tells the kid to remember her and hate her and he’ll bring her back to her later! The ml was covering his grounds all throughout the drama and covering up for his wife. The fl, honestly didn’t get her revenge in my opinion. She got a little bit of it. The unfinished story of who’s kid that was and if the husband of the fl really did cheat and the little bit of love line with the ml was unfinished. This drama could have been a lot better, the scenes where there’s so much conflict and bullying of the fl could have been cut down and we could have seen more of the unfinished stories and possibly a love line or development with the fl with the ml or even another guy. These short stories is a love hate relationship I have because the 2nd fl always gets away with so much and we don’t see her being punished at all and giving the viewers only 5 minutes towards the end isn’t worth it. The ml always are toxic and their egos are all high and they still don’t know that they are wrong. These writers need to get fired. 😂 If it wasn’t for the ml and his acting which I love I would have skipped this drama. However, I’m glad I stuck with it, the fl did and amazing job and whatever was given to the ml the actors did their thing!!! If you read all this and felt the same or whatever then thank you 😊 😂❤

He was a control freak, its his way or no way. He hated FL not because she didn't do things his way, but that she did it on his sons birthday. she hurt his son and that is unforgivable in his eyes. He doesn't realize he himself is also to blame because he covered up the SFL crimes. I think the FL believed in her heart that the son was hers husbands, why else would she ask the SFL who the father was in the end. My wish for the ending was that stupid ML (sorry vu Long) and FL reconciled and raised the child that was a product of his wife and her husband.
The FL predicted the ending but she was willing to bear the consequence of hatred and revenge from the child when he grows up. A very unhappy ending but a realistic one.

I can't blame the actor for taking on a villainous role. It would be tiresome to always play the good guy. His role here was very ambiguous. Not a true villain, but a ruthless pragmatist. Although it was a bit disturbing to see him role-play his wife while having sex in the office lol. All in all, a good psychological drama. I was really expecting a romance but I liked it way more than I thought I would.

Okay, settled! After less than 20mins in, I'm going straight to the end. Don't really like how the drama is progressing? Interesting twist...at least it wasn't the FL's son. Jumped to the last 23mins--yeah, the ending was really weak.

Came here for the ML!!😂 although this role is more of a domineering, cold CEO personality, there's moments of romantic playfulness with FL. The ending leaves one to wonder if there's going to be a part 2 of some sort or could have stretch for more!!! But can understand why he's watching and waiting for her! Looks like he's been played, the looked on his faces when she tells the group about her and her decreased husband's love story, so he got butt hurt and got knocked down from his pedestal, his wording foreshadowing that he'll go after her for that!💔 but putting those words in the kid's face?🤕🤕😵💫😵💫 that's a bit bad script writing here....the kid should have been left out in the car scene!!

Amo las actuaciones de Yu Long, en esta es muy despiadado, no es un papel habitual en él, lo hizo excelente, odie ver como inculca el odio en un niño, y no asume sus culpas, la FL excelente, me conmovió su interpretación de una persona que lo perdió todo a manos de persona tan maquiavélica, y coincido que si continuará ella se reuniría con su esposo e hijos.❤❤❤❤❤❤ excelente las actuaciones de todos y el drama, si bien no es de mis temas favoritos. I can't blame the actor for taking on a villainous role. It would be tiresome to always play the good guy. His role here was very ambiguous. Not a true villain, but a ruthless pragmatist. Although it was a bit disturbing to see him role-play his wife while having sex in the office lol. All in all, a good psychological drama. I was really expecting a romance but I liked it way more than I thought I would.

Сценарий понравился. Не повторяющийся 20 раз. Я поддерживаю главную героиню. Людей которые не понимают своей вины, ни в прошлом ни через 7 лет. Нужно наказывать. Скольким людям его жена принесла горе за свою жизнь. А главному герою нужно задуматься. Сына жалко, но он жив.
Почитала комментарии офигела:женщина помешана на мести, итог травма ребёнку, насмешки мужчине и опять месть, всё закономерно.Об актёре отлично сыграл роль, пусть и не идеальную.А переносить негативные эмоции на актёра глупо!!! 👎

Came here for the ML!!😂 although this role is more of a domineering, cold CEO personality, there's moments of romantic playfulness with FL. The ending leaves one to wonder if there's going to be a part 2 of some sort or could have stretch for more!!! But can understand why he's watching and waiting for her! Looks like he's been played, the looked on his faces when she tells the group about her and her decreased husband's love story, so he got butt hurt and got knocked down from his pedestal, his wording foreshadowing that he'll go after her for that!💔 but putting those words in the kid's face?🤕🤕😵💫😵💫 that's a bit bad script writing here....the kid should have been left out in the car scene!!

It’s a shame the male lead didn’t realize how much the female lead loves the little boy. There’s enough hatred and revenge in the world to teach it to a child is a harsh, cruel thing to do whether you are the biological father or the non-biological father.
