I know the Gambit hype train has rolled in over the past couple of months but I just don't see it. His kit is largely unimpressive and if not for his pings, would be almost useless. The pings in DD will be a drop in the bucket, a slight health tax, and his ultimate has an excessive cooldown. Nightcrawler's special not only stuns but applies defense up to all allies for 2 turns and has a cooldown of 3 so giving your team defense up at minimum for 66% of the match. His ultimate has an even longer cooldown than gambits but his special is far superior which gives him the edge in my book. Along with the fact he will most likely go first at the start of the match, giving you the initiative to stun a key member of the enemy if the special is ready. If I have to choose osmium to put on a character, gambit would be the last character I would give it to. But that's just me.
Be as cheap as possible. It's not the funnest way to play the game but it sure does provide a lot of freedom and choice. And I am only hoarding until I reach 1B then I will start spending it. I just wanted to see if I could save that much. In-game goals.
If his counters did 30% of his opponent's health, he'd be the king of Dark Dimension.
