I just started on iracing 3 days ago and I tried one quick practice in this car. Cant seem to get it under 59s at this time. Hoping to run at least one decent race here and get the time to at least mid 58s. Looks fun and the car is pretty challenging on balance. Great race. I might have learned a thing or two about the car.
59 is already quite good if you are only on iracing for 3 days! keep also in mind that track temperature can make about a second difference here. this car is a lot of fun, even though it's a free rookie car imho it's one of the best. very good racing, although in lower splits (where you end up) and also on this track it may be hard to come out alive. it will get better if you increase your irating. btw there is also a FF1600 discord server, if you post a video of a lap there, i (and many other people) are always happy to take a look and give some advice: discord.gg/QZRYvUdYJ6 thanks for watching, see you on track!
@@SleepyCatRacing I run stock setup for this track, do you use a modified one here? Also I have prior experience from RaceRoom and rF2. So I am not completely green ;) The iRacing Mazdas are loads of fun and easy to drive as well. I will have to compare it with Raceroom after their latest patch.
@@Django45 Ah yes, if you have already experience then you're faster up to speed :) I do not run the default setup, i use the one that Edward Buchanan showed in his track guide. But it shouldnt really matter that much. I'd say just use the one from iRacing and adjust brake balance to your liking.
Congratulations ! Really good race really interesting combo
Thanks, it is indeed a very fun combo. Although i like everything in the FF1600 :D
'I did an overtake'. Really worth to mentiion it on that track.
Good driving, congrats!
Thank you! And thanks for watching :)
