JIMMY PAGE OF ( LED ZEPPELIN ) loves this band. He met the group back stage and asked if he could have his picture taken with the drummer( AKANE ) she thought it was a dream ( it was not ) a rock legend like that giving props to the girls, how awesome is that.Jimmy Page( LED ZEPPELIN) just after seeing the band play in Tokyo in 2016. He complimented Akane. Akane was star struck. She later said Mr Jimmy Page-san offered her much encouragement and she promised to do her best. The talent level is off the charts, These girls are flat out ROCK STARS. SHRED ON LADIES...

So for the record: this song is always played in the middle of the live set. They usually will let the lead singer go off and play an instrumental, then the band leader and rhythm guitarist will come out and do cute maid shit and hype up the crowd, then she'll do her own song called Rock in Me where she sings lead, then the lead singer comes back out and they continue the show. The live shows are fantastic and Rock in Me has a real classic rock feel that I love.
Ive seen those Miku Time videos. So cool and brilliant audience participation, but I have only seen this version and Miku is there. In fact, its really important and an example of how her Rhythm guitar work is actually really good and adds a ton to this performance. Im sure I dont need to tell you that haha
I am a rock guitarist and have been playing for over 35 yrs. My two daughters, 12 and 14, now have electric guitars and daddy has been teaching them to play. Now my 5 yr old daughter wants to play, so for Christmas looks like she will be getting her very own Ibanez 3/4 scale Gio Mikro! Rock on girls! I hope I have taught them the most important lesson in music.... "Music will set you free!". Another lesson I have always conveyed is to never let yourself be confined by a specific genre of music, why limit yourself? ;o)
You, my friend, are doing it the right way. Music is an escape from the craziness we live in. Take it a step further and hug your kids tight... let them know how much you love them. Now let's not get too crazy here with the King of the world hahaha. As a reaction channel I feel that I'm still very small compared to many others. The competition is really tough but I've focused on a part of the world that accepts my content (Europe & Asia). People don't want to see me react to Metallica but when I upload a BAND-MAID reaction the viewers are down for it. I had just run across the girls a couple days prior, watched every last official video on their channel multiple times, made my first iTunes purchase EVER (and first money spent on new music in DECADES) when I called up a friend of mine who had played guitar professionally in Japan back in the 90s. "Dude, I just found THE MOST AMAZING Japanese band! and they're all girls! and all dressed up li...." "Oh, you found Band-Maid, here, let me send you a link" ONSET. I swore I had no idea it could get any more amazing than what I had already listened to.
I'm 68 and I went crazy and bought all the cd's (including Conqueror). I haven't been this jacked about a rock band in years. I just got lucky and found out about them when they first started showing up on RUclips. They are my current favorite rock band and it's kind of odd because I'm an old Prog guy who loves Yes.

best hard rock band on the planet right now-it appears as if you have done 3 instrumentals out of your 4 reactions -i would suggest you do 'dice' and 'real existence' videos to let vocalist saiki shine-she is fantastic-dice is the favorite of about 75% of maid fans and kicks ass.also 'alone' and 'non-fiction days' are very killer songs you may want to check out and of course their very first video from 2014 called 'thrill'- can't miss with the maids!

They just released a DVD of their 2019/2020 Domination tour and they've also released a storming version of Domination from it as a teaser trailer. It's one of the best live Rock performances I've seen in many years (and my Rock journey started with seeing Zappa live in 1978 and Zeppelin in 1979) and I'm sure you'll love it. Old time rock and roll guy here and never in a million years would I have thought that my favorite band would be 5 Japanese ladies playing rock music, but here we are. The first song I heard from them was "Take Me Higher" and I was hooked. Got to see them in NYC this past summer and they were awesome! Can you do a reaction to "Take Me Higher"? Starting with an instrumental is not a very good way to keep your vocalist happy. You want to start a performance with all members and a punch. Never start with 4/5ths of the band.... Their youtube channel has this same song, as a MV and with each member highlighted in their own MV. You get to see each of them play their parts. Pretty Cool.
They don’t start their performances with this song. They usually do an instrumental along with other stuff about halfway into the concert to give their vocalist Saiki a break.
Great point @Badllama! I didn't think of it that way but you do want to come out to a straight banger with all members doing their thing. Maybe this one would be good to follow the opener. They NEVER start with this or other instrumentals on their concerts. They Always play an instrumental in the midway to give Saiki's voice a rest. Also, the MV for "ONSET" was on the bonus DISC for their "Conqueror" Album. It was NOT on their channel as far as I know. The clips were uploaded by other fans. The video was not so much an "MV" as really for highlight the instrumental playing of each members and to give the fan/musicians how the songs were played. I know because I have the DISC.
This is your 4th song of thiers and you weren't expecting the. to just dive in? Most of their songs are like this. They basically approach songwriting like women approach fighting. No posturing, no b.s. just go for the throat.
I really get annoyed those requesting reactions to this amazing song dont let reactors know its an instrumental before hand. It lets them know to expect that rather than hanging on in anticipation of the singing starting..

People ask what is it about Japan that so many great bands of women are from there. My informal survey asks do you think its the water or the Saki? So far the surveys says SAKI! What do you think?
Old time rock and roll guy here and never in a million years would I have thought that my favorite band would be 5 Japanese ladies playing rock music, but here we are. The first song I heard from them was "Take Me Higher" and I was hooked. Got to see them in NYC this past summer and they were awesome! Can you do a reaction to "Take Me Higher"? Starting with an instrumental is not a very good way to keep your vocalist happy. You want to start a performance with all members and a punch. Never start with 4/5ths of the band.... Their youtube channel has this same song, as a MV and with each member highlighted in their own MV. You get to see each of them play their parts. Pretty Cool.

They don’t start their performances with this song. They usually do an instrumental along with other stuff about halfway into the concert to give their vocalist Saiki a break.
Great point @Badllama! I didn't think of it that way but you do want to come out to a straight banger with all members doing their thing. Maybe this one would be good to follow the opener. They NEVER start with this or other instrumentals on their concerts. They Always play an instrumental in the midway to give Saiki's voice a rest. Also, the MV for "ONSET" was on the bonus DISC for their "Conqueror" Album. It was NOT on their channel as far as I know. The clips were uploaded by other fans. The video was not so much an "MV" as really for highlight the instrumental playing of each members and to give the fan/musicians how the songs were played. I know because I have the DISC.
This is your 4th song of thiers and you weren't expecting the. to just dive in? Most of their songs are like this. They basically approach songwriting like women approach fighting. No posturing, no b.s. just go for the throat.

I really get annoyed those requesting reactions to this amazing song dont let reactors know its an instrumental before hand. It lets them know to expect that rather than hanging on in anticipation of the singing starting..
