The part of the video where it misclassifies the bottle is when he breaks the seal halfway. As he rotates to the side that's still connected, it appears to be very similar to a good seal, and that's when it passes. I think this is a perfectly fine demonstration, as the camera will not be able to detect the defect if it's rotated to the back side of the bottle. In actual application, you might have something that rotates the bottle passed a camera, or multiple cameras to capture from different angles.
I just bought eight IS2800 for an application that had previously been using IS2000. The technology is impressive and has greatly reduced the number of false reads that were occurring with the IS2000. The problem I'm having is that the Insight Vision Suite software continues to crash when I'm training these cameras and that's multiple cameras that are doing the same task (i.e., identify a feature on aluminum rod product.) Anyone else having an issues with software crashing?
Nice video, can you explain how to set up the outputs please, and if its possible change the color of the frame in the case of NG to red? Regards from mexico😊
I don't think that you can change this tool's color of NG to red, because it's just another class which has been found correctly. You need to use the Math Tool, link the corresponding tool outputs, and create your result over there. Setting the outputs is quite easy after that. Just choose one, set it to programmed and choose the result, you want to link to that output.
The internal lighting of My camera insight 2000 is not working, but the Lights is on every time i tuned the power off. So i think the problem in the firmware. Can you recomend me some way to fix it ? Thanks
@@tanoan1933 This is the e-mail address from Cognex support: ts.global@cognex.com In the image settings parameter you can turn the lights on and off. There is only strobe mode available, so you have to trigger the camera to turn on the lights.
Why are there used two different bottles? Design is the same but one seems to be filled and the other is empty. The brightness of the bottle in the lower part of the check tool is completely different. I think this is why the check is stable - not because of the broken seal.
ViDi El Classify tool works on the provided region. As you can already see the in this case almost all of the confidence score is due to contrast difference of filled and empty bottle thought some (a little) of that score is of seal.
very good point. I also think that the empty bottle is a very big point for stableness. Most vision applications work with contrast and the best contrast is given here with 2 bottles. But I think that the tool also recognizes the broken seal, but with a full bottle it wouldnt be so stable
The empty bottle is fogged, so the video doesn't proof that the cap is detected correctly. At 4:37 the bad cap is detected OK. Guys, be more professional!
The confidence score was just based on 1 teaching parameter, considering site conditions it can easily be pitched to almost 100% and it's not a big deal with cognex AI
@@ParmeetSinghChanna1709 You could be right, but if it's that easy, why don't they do it in a video which is presented to the world? That's why I'm talking about professionality, not because of not trusting the brand new tool without any settings 😉
the gentleman speaks too fast, some information are chaotic or completely missing. the whole video is in the style of "speedy Gonzales". I would have liked a clearer video that would be more helpful. We bought an in-sight 2800 to test but I couldn't find a good instructional video anywhere

Did you not catch when it said the NG cap was OK? Might want to edit that? Or at least mention it...

You can upgrade or downgrade firmware with the installed versions of Insight Explorer.
@@ParmeetSinghChanna1709 i tried with versions 6.2.2 to 5.2.2 but nothing changed. Do you have another way ? Thanks.
What do you mean with turned the power off? If there is no power the lights can't be on. If yes, check if your mount is carrying voltage.

light goes off to indicate camera power is off.
