I've been re-watching all Pokemon Talk episodes & this one hit me hard. When I first watched the series 5 years ago, this is one of the firsts uploaded after I caught up & it did catch me by surprise. I know I left a comment when it was uploaded but due to it being on an alternate account, there's no way I'd be able to find it unless I sign into that account again but I don't feel like doing that. It didn't hit me as hard as it did back then but it still moves me. I love this series & am thankful it still exists. I'm unsure if I'll be able to get around to doing it but I really wanted to make a comic that is in present day that somewhat takes place in the world of Pokemon Talk, which is why I decided to go through the series again. Maybe after splatfest is over, I can focus on it. Things changed so much over the years it's been off air & I wanted to do something where someone present day ends up tracking down some past guests of the show to ask some questions, that's all I'm revealing, there's much more to it but I don't want to give it away. So I did start watching Mikey before getting into Pokemon Talk, regularly sat in on his streams back when he use to stream but I didn't get much into his content until watching Pokemon Talk, that's what hooked me in. I'm so happy it exists & is still there to go back to & even though he doesn't do it anymore, lots of the humor displayed in this series can shine through his current work.

I've been re-watching all Pokemon Talk episodes & this one hit me hard. When I first watched the series 5 years ago, this is one of the firsts uploaded after I caught up & it did catch me by surprise. I know I left a comment when it was uploaded but due to it being on an alternate account, there's no way I'd be able to find it unless I sign into that account again but I don't feel like doing that. It didn't hit me as hard as it did back then but it still moves me. I love this series & am thankful it still exists.
I'm unsure if I'll be able to get around to doing it but I really wanted to make a comic that is in present day that somewhat takes place in the world of Pokemon Talk, which is why I decided to go through the series again. Maybe after splatfest is over, I can focus on it. Things changed so much over the years it's been off air & I wanted to do something where someone present day ends up tracking down some past guests of the show to ask some questions, that's all I'm revealing, there's much more to it but I don't want to give it away.
So I did start watching Mikey before getting into Pokemon Talk, regularly sat in on his streams back when he use to stream but I didn't get much into his content until watching Pokemon Talk, that's what hooked me in. I'm so happy it exists & is still there to go back to & even though he doesn't do it anymore, lots of the humor displayed in this series can shine through his current work.
