All of my shackles are anti-rattle and anti-theft.
I keep them in my recovery bag inside the truck.
Not mall approved I guess, but there's no mall in the backcountry.

Another outstanding video! Dig the anti-theft system. These will be perfect on my Ram 2500! Keep up the great work. Subscribed!

I just ordered an Uber Shackle for my reciever hitch. I am very excited that it arrived yesterday. I am a trucker and I cant wait to get home!
The down side is that I am worried my Shackle will be stolen. I was told that the Pin with the anti-theft is not available for the reciever hitch option I ordered.
I will install mine when I get off the long road, but just a little bummed out about potential theives. 🥴👍

Burrell1 You can always get the locking set separately here:
      www.gearamerica.com/collections/heavy-duty-shackles/products/uber-d-rings-green?aff=15
And use coupon code BCOUTDOORS to save even more. Then swap one on to the receiver block! Then you have spares too!😎

That's nice, but I only need the locking pin. Sorta overkill for me to order more shackles just to get the pin. 😜👍

Great video, I was wondering what the difference between these and the mega shackles where, you’ve a new subscriber. And do you get a decal from every package you buy when you get the shackles/Straps? Would like to see what they look like if you could show it In your next video. 💪

The Mega Shackles are 17,000lb work load, and the Uber Shackles are 20,000lb work load. The Uber Shackles also have the anti-theft pin with the tool. I believe you get the decal with every purchase. I’ll make sure to show it off on my next video!

All they need is a flat screw driver and off comes the cap. Its better than not having a deterrent but still not very secure.

It’s designed to be a deterrent and to prevent the shackle form jiggling loose and getting lost. Regardless of how secure you THINK something is, if someone wants it bad enough, they will take it. Thanks for your feedback.

Yeah thats true. If they really want it no matter how secure their gonna take it. Thanks for the video.

If a thief wants your socks, he will steal them even while you walk. Same principle applies with the shackles. If he wants them bad enough, he will find the way to get them.

big screwdriver would work on that triangle

It just to keep honest folks honest. If someone wants something bad enough, they are going to get it. Great theft deterrent though.

What happens if someone tries to remove the pin with the anti-theft cap on? Will the force cause the threads in the cap to strip?

Honestly I do not know if I like the anti theft. If I'm trying to recover something in a hurry the last thing I want to do is go through all those steps just to use a shackle

It’s really a quick removal with the tool, but it’s not for everyone!
