His animations are amazing and I really wish he was officially playable in every chapter and not be bugged in like half the chapters
He was originally going to have a Balder Mode where he goes through the whole game but from his perspective, but time constraints had the team scrap it 😮💨
i feel like we need a sperate balder and rosa game. they were both very fun to play as.
The really were spot on with the choice of weaponry for the lumen sage. Drastically different from the umbran witches' four guns, but the glaive's ability to separate keeps it competitive it the exoticism factor.

I still wish they made her part Lumen part Umbran from an exciting lore perspective instead of some random Faeries
Man - All of animations are on point and fit the bayonetta world so well. He has that same style and edge as an Umbra Witch while still being inherently masculine. It's a bit hard to explain, but he doesn't feel out of place, or being too "dude bro, tough guy" stereotype. Real shame we didn't get any more Lumen Sages in 3.

Still think it's a shame they didn't have a weapon based on the Holy Glaive for Bayo 3. It would've been cool seeing Bayonetta fighting like her daddy and it would've been a good reason to include Diomedes in the game since i feel he's the perfect demon for a glaive weapon.
I was thinking diomedes would be better in case Shuraba returned
@Green Bean 501 I agree, but the holy glauve could have been tied to the mr.noodle hands who fought modama butterfly in their first encounter, or the three header dragon.
We need a Balder & Loki DLC for Bayo 3!

I really love the pppkp or ppkp combo. 1:13 There is something insanely impactful about him kicking his own glaive full force for an even stronger up swing.
I love his chants when he attacks. The enochian language is lovely

I always thought Viola was gonna be tied to the Lumen Sages with her colour scheme in hair and throwing Darts in the same way as Balder does.....and I still wish that was the case cause the faeries made it all confusing now 😂
They should have put him in Smash

She was my no.1 choice of all time, it’s just a shame that we‘re only get the shitty Jeanne custom instead of her bc she has the potential to be a good echo (different wicked weaves, Rose within, butterfly wings, final smash, moth within,…) and not just like Chrom or lucina.
But I think if they would ad Bayo chars in the next game, it would be Viola (2nd protagonist) and Jeanne (side chapters )

Literally my only disappointment with his moveset is that he doesn't have MORE
It would've been neat if you could switch between the glaive and dual-sword form at will, though

You can play as bolder in Bayonetta 2 in the arena mode (I forgot what it’s called). It’s a random event where you have to face bolder and beat him to unlock him.
Can someone please teach me how to put Balder in so I can play as him! And this is coming from someone who has never modded anything but desperately wants to learn.
