Wamucii I salute you. Not many people who will talk the truth of their pregnancy before a church wedding especially those saved. At times I look at the world and wonder why we are so judgemental. As you were talking to your pastor/mentor, I recall you said he looked at you like how and why you did that. I usually ask myself, who is better than the other, one going to say vows in church while pregnant or the one who aborted, lies to people (not God) that she is marrying as a girl, I don't want to use the other word. Wamucii was pregnant with the man who wedded her and after all she had done traditional wedding by groom taking dowry to her parents. I know hapa nitakemewa vilivyo but it's ok it's my view. After what is going on in the world, I would ask people not to be judgemental. After dowry, I suggest the would be couple should be blessed to live together untill they are sure they can live together as they have tested their life together. When they are satisfied, they should now do the wedding church. I think this would reduce the many weddings which are not seeing even the first anniversary. In other instances, some partners are clinging to abusive marriages for fear of being labelled a divorcee or a failure. For example the wife might be told to leave the matrimonial home and then resist. That is why we here so and so has killed the wife and even children. Am not saying we do away with marriage. No and never. I honour marriages and that is what makes homes hence church. Hii mambo ya kuona wale hawajafanya harusi kanisani are big sinners is wrong. These days you and I know of men and women who did "white" weddings are having affairs outside their marriages. This they do with someone else's husband or a young boy in the case of the wife. Equally the husband is walking along that line. On the other hand there are very many innocent men and women who married as virgins but have never done church weddings. The truth of the matter is that the latter are not so recognized in the church like their counterparts who did "white weddings" but now are the ones practicing adultery. Help me here church, among these people who are practicing what pleases God and not man?
