UPDATE: just got my hands on the Fanatics MiC, will try my best to do a RBK-Adidas-Fanatics 🇨🇦 jersey comparison at some point. Still have some NFL projects to get through, as well as a review on the new Blackhawks Winter Classic jersey 👍
I'm glad you made this video making the comparisons. I purchased the home and away Chicago Blackhawks Reebok IndoEdge jerseys back in 2015. I was curious to see how it compared to Adidas and Fanatics. These IndoEdge Blackhawks jerseys have held up really well over the years including be put through the wash several times. I also like the professional feel of the material. You said the logo feels flimsy compared to the authentic jerseys. Is it a lot more flimsy or slightly more flimsy?
Thanks for watching! The IndoEdge jerseys are definitely the most sturdy out of the three. A lot of people complained about them during their initial release, but they do feel more ‘on-ice’ compared to the Adidas and Fanatics jerseys. In terms of the flimsiness - I noticed that detail while filming the Made in Canada video (coming out soon 🙃). The Adidas MiC has a veeery firm crest that doesn’t feel flimsy at all. The RBK and Fanatics MiC’s feel softer in comparison. Hope that helps!
I ordered a Fanatics Premier New Jersey Devils #13 Hischier jersey from the Fanatics website but was very confused and disappointed that the "C" in front and the name "Hischier" was smaller than it should be. The lettering was only half the size. Mistake? I went to a Dick's Sporting Goods in New York and saw the same small lettering for the Islanders and Rangers in Fanatics Premier. I am going to return it but have you heard of this issue from anyone?
Are you preferring with the Fanatics Breakaway or Premium? The Premium is the equivalent of the Adidas Authentic, and those had similar issues during the initial release. Originally, Adidas jerseys size 46 and below had noticeably smaller patches, though this was rectifies in later releases. To play devils advocate though, it’s understandable. On-ice specs can sometimes look awkward on smaller size jerseys; you’ve got less real estate to work with, but the patches remain large
@@jerseyhead.u I'm only 5'9" but an avid weightlifter with broad shoulder and thick chest and back so I am not surprised the 56 fits tight. I think the size 60 will work. However...... .....the issue is the wierd lettering. The Hischier name is about half size of regular and the Captain's "C" in front is the same. If I return and replace, I suspect the issue would be the same. I just never thought this was a an issue and have not heard anyone else who voiced the issue except for an employee at Dick's Sporting Good. Their Islanders and Rangers jerseys all had the same issue. What can I do?..... I got a good pre-Christmas deal at 30% off regular price on the Fanatics site so a straight return would stink but the lettering as is makes the jersey an absolute joke. What can I do?
Kool video, the line about where the on ice jerseys are made compared to the retail authentic makes sense. I realized it holds true with the NFL game issue in comparison to the retail version.....
Yessir! Retail jerseys are perfectly fine for the average fan, people just need to be realistic about their expectations. Luckily Fanatics started releasing Made In Canada jerseys again, they just cost and arm and leg 💰
Good stuff! Solid video showing the differences. I appreciate the time and effort it takes to make these videos. Thank you!
Appreciate it man! It was a lot of fun to make. I’m also working a similar video for the Made in Canada 🇨🇦 versions
Would love to see a video comparing the authentic, on-ice pro jerseys amongst these three brands! Keep up the great content 👏🏒
Thanks, really appreciate the support and suggestion 😁

For a fan jersey, they’re honestly not bad 😁
