Good stuff Kelly B. I do this but always while on Bike and I can lean it a lot. Also, when you first start putting gas into your bike, the person before you might have purchased regular gas. So the first 1/4 might be leftover regular stuck in the lines from the previous customer. This allow the 93 to be mixed into the tank that takes longer to burn than the 87
@@kellybgliding I rode to work today just so I could try this 😄 Did it about 8 to 9 times. Range said 235 miles. Left gas station, rode 4 miles home... range said 234 miles. Thanks again for the tip, brother!! 💯
I’ve burped my bike ever since I saw Wood Jr and Ross the cross showed him. At times when I fill up the miles to empty stays at a certain miles and I can ride up to 20 plus miles before it starts to decrease. A clean air filter also adds miles. I saw you at RTTH4 and I like your energy and enthusiasm. Safe travels.
trikes have the same issues granted its a lil bit harder to do because we don't get to rock it from side to side but for trikes you can push down on the front floorboards to do the same thing. I can get a bit more at times of gas into the tank when I do it. I will spend the extra 2-5mins at the pump on the long rides across the country or anything longer than an hour ride..
Great information Bro. My grandpa always said a smart person should learn something everyday. No matter how small or big it is. That what you just showed is new to me. So thank you bro keep up the great work you doing out here.
After seeing your last video. I tried it, it work but I didn't shake the bike... it was burping by it self if I waited a couple seconds. The next time I will shake the bike... Thanks for the info
That's increasing your range by getting more gas in the tank, not your gas mileage. Gas mileage is mpg. Great technique to get the tank full though. Will definitely extend your distance and reduce the number of stops on a trip.
Great video KBG, I was just doing this on the way back from TN. So glad you made this video I never thought to post this. I thought everyone knew lol. 😂 man you are firing on all cylinders. Ride safe my brother!
Great video I will most definitely start doing that. Love watching your video I live in Houston, Tx. Would love to ride with you one. I don't ride a Harley, but don't hold that against me.
Thanks for watching. I will ride with another. Because it doesn’t matter what you ride. I might be in Houston next month. I will definitely announce it.
I sit on my bike standing it straight up while filling and rock it back and forth the way you do it still not getting all the gas because its still on the stand and harleys lean over pretty far on the stand
Thanks bro never thought about that!!! 🔥
No problem and thanks for watching
Crazy - THIS WORKS!!! It really helps a lot. Thanks

I never knew it was called burping the bike. I do that but now I’m going to do it more.
Yes sir.. That’s what the OG’s taught me and they called it burping your bike. Bro I get great miles out of that 128

Only bike I ever owned that did not need burping was my 1985 kawasaki ninja 1000r. MY 2016 Street Glide in a royal PITA to fill.

Been doing this for years.. Many people stop and ask me why I do it.. Great video explaining brother.
Thank you 🙏🏾. It definitely helps a lot when you’re on a long trip.
Yep. I do it too!
Yes sir.
I’ll have to try it!
Joe you will definitely see the difference in your gas mileage
I’m going to fill my bike up tomorrow see how ma y burps I get out of my bike, great tip much appreciated.

Looking at the pump it looks like you managed to get another quarter of a gallon in there. Great tip. Thanks!

I burp my bike EVERY time! What I do is sit on the bike while refueling and rock the bike back and forth between my knees to get the air out.
I’m going to definitely try that . Thanks for watching
I didn’t know this either. Tried it yesterday for the first time. I haven’t tracked the mileage yet but I burped it 6 times! It’s on now! Thanks bro.
No problem bro. I thought people knew about this. Thanks for watching

Thank you big bruh.

Right so true
Your mileage doesn’t get better per gallon but you get more miles out of the tank because the tank is full to capacity.
Right
Good morning that's on any bike
Yes sir. So true
You mean more distant per tank not gas mileage. Misleading but a good videp
Right on
👍🏾
