Hi Liao. I've taken the flight from SJC to SAN many times and I always enjoyed it because it's a very picturesque flight along the coast. It's pretty cool to see the JAL Dreamliner at SAN. I really liked the unique angle you used to film the wing...I dont' think I've seen anyone else do it that way. I've never flown Alaska, but I have flown the ERJ-175 many times on Delta. The first class products between Alaska and Delta look identical, except the seats on the Alaska looked newer. Happy travels Liao and best wishes.

Hiya David. I'm one of Fukang's followers, and I enjoy his videos a great deal. From my limited amount of times I have watched plane spotting and trip reports, Fukang's have always been the best produced in my opinion.
I read what you wrote about Alaska and Delta looking identical. Do not quote me on this, but as I remember, Alaska almost merged with Delta a while back. This might have had something to do with their similarities. You wrote a great comment.

Hi C-990 Buff...I really enjoy Liao's videos because his love and passion for aviation are very noticeable. I can see a lot of improvement and effort in each of his videos. So for those reasons, I always try to support and encourage him.

Hi David and Guerry, I want to say thank you so much for your support and that really encourages me to go forward.
Initially I just wanted to document my trips and plane spotting. But then I found that sharing on RUclips makes more fun than watching these videos by myself. These videos well represent my point of view when flying.
The view down the coast is fantastic.
For those ERJ's in Alaska and Delta, they might be operated by the same company, Skywest. Maybe that's one of the reasons why the products look identical.
Thank you again and I will see you guys soon!

I'm gonna be in 4A for my trip from SF to Kansas City, very awesome video. Did you get an actual meal service or was it just snacks due to flight time? Do they do any pre-takeoff beverages?

I like 1A on the ERJs as a single traveler who loves the bulkhead it gives me extra legroom! SJC is my home airport and I wish Alaska would partner with the Club@SJC, open their own Alaska Lounge or offer a $20 Dining Voucher for those in First Class as many don't use the LAX lounge upon arrival( I use the Alaska Lounge at LAX on arrival).

Cool to know that one can use the Alaska Lounge on arrival. I go the the Club@SJC quite often, with Priority Pass. Many credit cards come with free membership.

我的朋友福康! I am very sorry to have not commented on your last video. I was so grateful you posted it. I just refuse to post one line comments when I view your videos, because they are so incredibly well made that you deserve that I put some thought into them. Unfortunately, I was so busy last week that I ran out of time.
However, I hope to render you great service in this comment, since you have again provided me a great pleasure at viewing this flight report. I know you travel a lot and miss your family, but I am glad for your videos, since you are able to bring us views of many places most of us will never be able to visit. The next time you are able to travel home, please include some video of Taiwan.
I am fascinated by the difference between the major Asian airlines on which you travel and those based out of the US. They are so clean and well maintained as compared to what I have witnessed while traveling in US airports and on US carriers. When it comes to US airlines, it seems that the people in the US are more interested in inexpensive flights than they are in luxury and comfort. I even noticed the difference between how well-groomed all the items in the seat back on your ANA flight as compared to those on this trip. I truly appreciate attention to detail. I have almost made up my mind that if I ever am able to travel to Asia, my airlines of choice will be Eva Air, ANA, or Asiana.
That flight you took to San Diego was actually a separate regional airline operated by Skywest Airlines, flying with the Alaska Airlines livery. Since regional airlines have a very tight budget, they tend to crowd more seats in their aircraft, which gives passengers much less legroom. I am so tall, that if my flight on one of them is over an hour, I have to stick my feet in the aisle.
Thank-you so very much for sharing your experience with us who truly enjoy your work. If I am ever able to help you in any way, I will most gladly offer 关系 to you. You see, I have been doing my homework about Taiwan. 乾杯!

Hello again my friend Guerry! Please don't say sorry, I truly appreciate your comment every single time.
I have been thinking for a while about broadening the content of the channel. Some travel footage might be a good starting point.
There might be some business travel to Asia this year so let's see.
These Asian airlines are competitive options for crossing the Pacific ocean. I usually chose one of these over US carriers. However I feel that the US carriers are catching up recently. New aircrafts, renovated cabin, better meal, there are some announcements every few weeks. One thing about ANA that still impresses me is clarity of the windows. 100% clear for all four segments that I flew. That is usually not the case for other carriers. If you decided to go to Asia, you can't go wrong with any of your choices. There are even more options out there such as CX, SQ or even EK if you want to fly the other way.
I noticed the pitch of those first class seats are not that impressive. A tall person can feel tight in the seat. But in general both 1-2 in first class and 2-2 in economy class are friendly to passengers in my opinion. By the way, thanks to the improvement of engine efficiency, aircrafts can fly longer and longer. Now a single-isle A321 can fly trans-atlantic route.
As always, thank you so much for spending time for the great comment! I truly enjoy it. You are already helping me with these comments. Feel free to ask me if you want to learn more about 台灣. Cheers!

Probably be taking Alaska first class from Fresno down to SD in February for my bday. Have flown them once to SD already from here but was on the old crj 700 in coach. Can't wait to see the difference. Was free Wi-Fi included for first class?

There was no free Wi-Fi for first class as far as I know. Have a great trip to SD!
