It looks like its between the first compressor pipe and the recirculation valve. What kind of BOV is it and did you have any issues with your engine after installing it? Ive heard on some forums that the AFR's get messed up since the VVTi motors run a MAF and the BOV(atmospheric) throws off the readings?

ryan adkins because the 1jz vvti is the only jz engine with a factory single turbo. The vvti also causes it to spool faster and produce far more torque at lower rpm's
I'll go ahead and tell you now, it's worth it to save up a little more for an R154 unless you're only dailying the car and not asking too much from the tranny. Any serious modifications that bring on decent power gains are going to start touching the W58's limit.
ive had both. rb25 doesn't even compare to a 1jz, plus the rb25 is so finicky, once you go 1j its hard to go to a different motor everything else just feels sluggish and boring!
370z is a na engine and this engine being forced induction and a straight 6 instead of a v6 and other differences, I wouldn't say it would perform worse at all but the feeling from both would be different but line those cars up side by side stock you have a great race but the 1jz with a upgraded turbo and little upgrades would out perform the 370 and for the 370 to reach that level you are talking big numbers. My opinion but I could be wrong. Also Nissan has built very similar cars with straight 6's and turbos but not a Rwd but nothing the aftermarket and money can't fix lol

If your not going to be drag racing/ drifting the car with some sticky tires i think youll be fine for driving on the street, just dont shift it super fast!
+MotionAutoTv I have broke 3 w58 in my mk3 supra, but it makes 409 on 9psi with a 68mm. I broke one on 18psi but I busted the case completely open lol, should be fine for daily driving and street sharking then.

Just did this very same swap in my cressida, now need the 1jz vvti in a 240sx
saw this car for sale on craigslist in Colorado a few months ago, didn't know it was yours lol should have went for it.
I always blow off those vacuum caps on my 1j too. Need to find a threaded fitting that blocks those unused ports off.
