Hii mam your videos are so good and informative just wanted to ask one doubt, When we check for normality in paired t test the input to shapiro test will be the difference of paired sample?
This video is full of mistakes, useful but I have to keep fixing things - 2:46 S.D = 5.84, when calculating standard error, 5.68 is used - 4:00 (5 - 1 = 3)
i think while inputting the data from your website, there are some faults in calculating the differences. It should be y-x (where x is before and y is the after). I tried doing the paired samples t test on this website, and it resulted in a negative t-value. even though the difference is positive.
The zero ... is due to the claim ... we assume there is no difference between the weight before and after of thesame individuals. We go on with our hypothesis testing.

Danke für das Video sehr Hilfreich 😄
Should I consider this example as one sample t-test or two-sample t-test since each pair is the same person? Thanks

WHy don't you do a pooled standard diviation?

I am sorry if I am mistaken, but isn't the n value 4? Making it correct in 4:00 ?
*Edit: yes she is wrong, but only a slip of a tongue 😅
3:11: The s used in "Standard error of the mean" is different than the s calucalted in "standard deviation"??
This is awesome!
Thanks for the video.
What should we do if the date are not normally distributed?
Hi many thanks for your Feedback! Then you use the Wilcoxon-Test. Please see my Video for the Wilcoxon Test: ruclips.net/video/NZsL2eDQiDQ/видео.html

Thank you 💖
4:02" : "The degrees of freedom in our case is 5-1=3?"
Oh yes sorry, that was a slip of the tongue.
@@datatab No problem, I got it! :)
Thank you 😊😊
thank you for the video but my question is that where we got 0 while calculating t value ?
What do you mean bei 0?
The zero ... is due to the claim ... we assume there is no difference between the weight before and after of thesame individuals.
We go on with our hypothesis testing.
Thank you, can you share the slides in form of pdf file?
You can find the information at datatab.net with all the text! The slides we do not share sorry!
Thank you so much. May god bless you
Same to you for the nice feedback! Regards Hannah
Ma'am I have a question regarding this topic for my research. Hoping for a fast response...
And where is the question?
🙂
"5 - 1 which makes 3" 4:01
Thanks!
Your standard deviation value used for stderr is wrong.
Oh thanks! I will have a look at it!
