@@TheYLcoolin2_yu ended up disabling lumen and nanite, and my game has been flawless since, same experience with marvel rivals, it was then i discovered that lumen was causing me issues
for real this is the same shit for me. fortnitemares update happens and then my game just starts crashing nonstop. i as well run the game at full lumen with a 4090 and 7800x3d
@ yeah same. I used to run full lumen as well without any issues. Hopefully they fix it soon, I did contact support about it they got me to test a few things and eventually said it’s been passed up to one of their teams as a rising problem.

Especially on a new PC build running a TUF gaming x870 plus WiFi motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7 9700X CPU, 4080 super GPU with 32gb ram 6000 mhz. I had to update my bios to the latest version that was released. After that, realized my RAM wasnt clocking the speed it should be getting so manually had to update that since my pc wouldn’t boot properly from enabling the DOCP (XMP for intel motherboards) in the bios. See if that works for anyone looking for additional options.

Tried wiping the pc, install windows only, older tested July nvidia drivers, lowest settings all round and no overclocking and it’s crashing. I can literally die asap and “return to lobby” triggering the crash super quick.
A thing worked for me is i recently download powder ai which is a game recording app when i turned on recording and launched first it got crashed but when i started the game again it was running perfectly do try it. worked for me
Tried all the fixes now, no bios update for motherboard, it’s a 4790k so older gen not a current gen CPU issue. I went to the extreme of running only! mobo, CPU and clean NVME windows install. Nothing else plugged into it not even extra fans lol. Old USB keyboard and mouse, iGPU of the 4790k is supported. Still crashes if I deliberately die and “return to lobby”. Suspected an easy anti cheat ban based on the mobos network card ID so I stuck a pcie wifi card in and still crashed. Next I took the NVME card out using the exact same install of windows as it was stuck it in a server motherboard running a low spec Xeon and Fortnite works. Whatever the issue is for me, it’s within the motherboard or CPU combo so I’m basically selling it and upgrading in the hope the replacement works with Fortnite 😢
Dont follow these stupd kids ... just ROLL BACK to ur Previous version of driver! i did that and it worked! because for some reason a new Intel driver update could cause compatibility issues with Fortnite, especially if the game isn't optimized for the latest driver ...TRY IT

turning off nanite and rebooting is the only thing that fixes it for me. Used to run fine at max even with lumen until Fortnitemares started

That would happen if your Epic Games launcher is still running while you’re trying to delete it. Try exiting the launcher completely and try again.
