Magical, Ralph! I am often transfixed by your playing of Baroque music and this recording is no exception. How wonderful to hear these works played so consummately as a whole, and on this fantastic sample set. Bravo!
A neat and tidy presentation. The Metzler sound is just right. The selections ably demonstrate some of its tonal capabilities. Displaying the score, the registration employed and the tidy, unencumbered Hauptwerk setup, with occasional glimpses of the Metzler instrument was well thought out. The playing was neat and tidy itself. Well done Ralph, well done! A pleasure to listen to.
Inspired of you to present these three chorale preludes in succession to reveal not only the inventiveness of Bach's genius for such hymn settings, but also how well suited this particular organ sample set is for playing such sublime music. The quality of your playing is just superb, Ralph: BRAVO!
Hi, Ralph. I knew the Poblet sampleset through my private pupil Antonio: it's an instrument with a very rich tone pallet for each division/department. Do you have videos using the Trost organ in Waltershausen? We exploited it with one of Rinck's prelude and fugue and it sounded great!
Now that you arranged them in order from soft to loud, I would definitely play the whole suite for accompanying the hymn. The solo registration in first setting sounds haunting and I liked it!
Amazing. I really like the BWV 642 that is one of the first Bach pieces I learned before Toccata and Fugue in D minor. Also I like the disposition screen on the side for what stops you use, it is really helpful!
Amazing, the two first ones are my very first Bach pieces I've ever learnt ! And the last from the Orgelbuchlein ( quite hard by the way ) is one of my favorite from this wonderful book. Too bad you didn't play bwv 647 from the Schubler chorals ( boss level )
Love the performance, the instrument, and registrations. I also like the minimalist keyboards and music rack - what keyboards are you using? is the rack custom made?
Haha, that's for sure ;) Luckily we have Hauptwerk, so I don't have to travel to Spain to play on this organ. Although, Hauptwerk can never replace 'the real thing'.

I love this piece and your interpretation of it! Stunning playing!

Lovely, once again, Ralph! Absolutely beautiful playing and registrations.
Thanks, Mitch!

Thanks very much, William! I'm glad you appreciated the complete idea of the video, but above all it's of course about the music ;)

Thanks, Graham! Yes, I particularly like how Bach sounds on 'the Poblet'.
I could listen to Bach's Music for hours never getting annoyed. You are a great interpreter, Ralph! Thanks for sharing these gorgeous Masterpieces.
Thanks, Roberto! Exactly, Bach never bores.
Beautiful performace! Very nice registrations. Well done, Ralph!
Thanks, Ralf!
Your Baroque touch and melody as well as trill is nice to be heard~ Great work!
I always appreciate your rendition! Ralph!!
Thanks, Clara!
Fantastic. I particularly love the last piece! You are the baroque Hauptwerk master.
Thanks, James!

Yes, it's one of Metzler's finest. No, I don't have the sample set of the Trost organ. I really wished I had that one, a great sample set.
Wonderful. I'll always appreciate Bach played well on an organ.
Thanks, April!
.....yes den habe ich auch schon gespielt, wunderbar, Ralph! BWV 691.
Danke, Thomas! BWV 691 ist so schön.

Thanks, Eunjoo! Yes, a nice Nasard with trem always works :)
A good idea to play these pieces in a row, beautifully rendered.
Thanks, yes, they sort of belong together, although they are quite different in structure.
Heel mooi gedaan, buurman! Verrassend mooie sampleset.
Dank, Marc! De set is aan absolute aanrader. Je moet 'm maar eens een keer bij me proberen.

Thanks, Storee, glad you liked it.
Each one of these settings is more beautiful than the next.
That's for sure!
I simply love this rendition 🤩
Thanks, Nils-Ole!
All very beautiful! (But for me the first one wins. So precious, like a leave flying in the summerwind). Bravo!
Thanks, Rien! Yes, BWV691 is just wonderful.
Lovely as always Ralph - you know your Bach! :-)
Thanks, Philip!

Yes BWV 647 is great too, of course. Although it wasn't in A minor for this video ;)

Thanks, Jim! I use Fatar TP-60LF keyboards, these are keyboards with tracker touch. The racks are from Fatar too, chassis parts.
excellent performance! I reckon that organ your playing is a little easier to take on the road than the pipe organ 🤣 great performance 👍
