Dashabatar refers to the ten avatars of 'Vishnu', the Hindu God of universal preservation. Dashabatar (dasha meaning "ten" and avatar meaning "the incarnation")
God Vishnu incarnates on earth from time to time to eradicate evil forces and to restore Dharma and liberate the worthy from the cycle of Life and Death.
The Dashavatar here is an extract from the "Kirtan Ghosha" written by Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardeva.
