This is so fucking good. The production on this is creative and melodic and the beat is captivating. Mad is also rapping in his Black Magic era style... It's the 'abstract expressionist' shit that I feel like myself and his old-man fans way prefer. I sort of gave up on Swollen a while back, but if Rob handled the new Swollen album this could be a new classic. Fuck I hope the new record stays on this level!

I hear you, and don't completely disagree. There was just something about the combination of the production style and his lyrics that never meshed how I would have liked it to on the majority of tracks. I don't typically like when his rapping is in that battle-rap style delivery and seemingly random lyrics. This has that storytelling aspect with the mix of vivid imagery that I just love from Madchild. His voice sounds like it went back a decade, too. A lot smoother than that rasp he's had lately.
