Man that’s the best sounding demo of this amp I’ve hear so far!! It really sounds amazing especially with the stacked pedals. May just have to invest in one of those D20s soon!!
Hi Le Bourrea, I’m guessing there’s an auto correction, meaning Shawn Tubbs? If so I’m very honoured, he is a guitar god I only wish I could be. Thanks for the comment.
Curious - you mention using the UA as well as the built in IRs. Which one was it? Also - I’ve been recording and haven’t quite gotten it as full - are you running straight into an interface and DAW or did you go to a preamp?
Awesome tones! The thing I don't understand is how you can play with that much gain on a Tele and I hear no 60 cycle hum. It drives me crazy in my home studio and makes me think about switching to noiseless pickups or humbuckers.
David Rothberg thanks for the comment, you’re right tele’s are noisy but the custom shop pickups are better. I have a Friedman with p90’s if you want to talk noisy.
If you're talking about through a cab, it would struggle to throw out enough volume at pristine clean to keep up with a drummer. But, remember this amp doesn't get crazy dirty to begin with. Here's the good news, this amp can run straight to the front of house via the xlr on the back. Which means this amp could play literally any venue live, club, large, stadium, and you'll get the same tone you get in a studio. Truly a remarkable amp.

Killer tone and versatility
Cheers Kevin.
This is the best tones I've heard from this amp! Would love to see more videos with it. What kind of ir's did you use?
kkkfts thanks for your kind message.
kkkfts I used the inbuilt ir’s that come with the amp.
Is that Xotic compressor running throughout the whole vid? These tones are killer, for sure. Just wanna make sure I understand the signal path.
That is correct, the comp is on throughout.
im considering buy the revv, but this was 5 years ago. Any more recent option you would recomend for home recording
Only 2 guys in the internet who give me desire to buy this head:you and Shaun Tubes.😎

Sounds amazing! Wonder how it would handle a germanium fuzz face?
cheers.
they don't make the black eye boost anymore?? what's the closest production pedal that's similar?
This or the blugamp? Which one do you prefer
This mainly makes me want the Revv Generator 100p.
I heard the 100p can also be turned down to 10watt.
Yep I fancy one of those myself,
Hi there, im a new subscriber... what are those pickups brother??? AWESOME!
Hi Luis, they are the stock pickups with the CS 52 tele. I think they are nocaster.

Really dig it! What ir is used in the video please?
Silentsound hi, in this vid I went into a UA I box so I didn’t use the inbuilt ir’s
Do you experience any pops and clicks when recording with D20?
I do not.
@@TheStudioRats Thanks for the reply, I've been getting pops and clicks when recording with my D20, what interface are you using may I ask??
Beautiful sounding tele which one is that?
Thanks, it a 52 custom shop.
Would it be enough power to also use it in a live setting? Would it stay clean?
Alvin Samson hi Alvin. I haven’t gigged the D20 yet. As soon as I do I’ll let you know. Best Paul

Do you still use this amp?
I do
