🎯 Key points for quick navigation:
Adult brains can still learn and grow. (4:49) They form new connections (synapses) throughout life, but adults need to actively choose to learn.
Exercise strengthens the brain. (7:46) Regular exercise increases blood flow and BDNF, a protein that helps the brain grow new connections and neurons (in the hippocampus).
Challenge your brain with new activities. (8:41, 9:51) Learning new things, especially physical skills like playing music or doing a cartwheel, is particularly effective.
Effort is key for maximizing brain potential. (11:11) Actively engaging with learning strengthens connections more than passively consuming information.
Eat a healthy diet to support brain function. (11:50) Limit fast food and processed foods, and choose vegetables, nuts, berries, dark chocolate, and fish.

Don't let public school experience challenge the rest of your life.
Be Batman be a baseball player. Be smart AF. Be skilled. Be on the winning team. Be an mvp. Create your own luck, or situations you know you can win 🏅.

    thanks for making this happen!!
maybe you can make a part two when you find something new about what can help enhance neuroplasticity and neurogenesis to a juvenile like state too?
    thx

So basically, to increase your intelligence, "rate of learning" you need to practice learning new things which trains the skill of learning to be faster.
When you saturate this aspect, you exercise daily to build up your stamina for learning, bloodflow and oxygen to the brain.
In addition eat a healthy diet that includes glucose, berries, nuts and protein in order to facilitate the chemical aspects of learning,
    and finally sleep well.
Sleep is last because if you do the other things first, it should come naturally.
These four things will increase your intelligence, sure but will not get you a specific skill. People wish to increase intelligence because often they're wanting to learn something faster but to be honest, just spending more time and being okay with spending that time where you want it is the most important thing. These other things are likely a slow build up of the base intelligence.
I model this as an equation in my head: Total volume of learned skill = Intelligence * time. and Intelligence = oxygenation*focus*energy/intensity because your brain is a body part like a muscle and simply requires inputs to get a specific output. Therefore you can combine the two equations by substituting intelligence. Total volume of learned skill = Oxygenation*focus*energy/intensity*time. Now this is a simplification and the importance of each of these vary depending on each other and are weighted differently. Lots of grinders spend 10 hours a day on learning some skill but lack focus, or maybe the energy. The equation isn't accurate and you can disagree with it but the idea is that you will get the biggest return focusing on the thing that is limiting your rate of learning. Don't get stuck on the idea that you should take supplements which will increase you're learning by 5%, when caffeine or small small doses of nicotine will get you 10-15% increases. But don't even start taking those until you increase the time. eg if you spend 1hour a day learning, a 15% increase will be 9 minutes of extra learning. When in reality you could just spend 1 extra hour and get a whole 200% return. If you're too tired to focus then take the supplements. After that you want to exercise to slowly increase your endurance because spending more time is a simple solution. And when you increase your endurance beyond the hours you have in the day, then you can work on focus. Anyway it's all relative to where you're at.

People in big cities can eat so much good quality food, and here we have to eat eggs as only cheap and best available food. Besides, since my high schools and college, i would have only small breakfast in tiffin and no lunch and would have to remain hungry till 5 pm. Only after reaching home at 6pm i would eat lunch as my mom didn't knew that chapati or other food can be put i refrigerator for next day so you dont have to prepare lunch at morning and can reuse night food. And since there was no internet, my parents never gave us lunchbox and we had to eat lunch at 6pm in evening. This made my jody weak, my weight was 62 in college (it should be 72) and later after college i worked in lifting heavy weights. Due to all this stuff, i have got fatigue and probably deficiency in vitamins. But this increased my focus in studying as when you are hungry for so long periods especially in schools, your focus starts building under tough conditions. In college, since my home was far away, i would eat only things like instant noodles at 8:30 am, and only eat lunch at 6 pm when i would return back home. No any food inbetween and would do this for all my high school and college years. My focus does has increased but my body has been wrecked from all this years especially doing labour work in factory
