I’ve seen this song covered at least a 100 times over the years. The one single factor I most appreciate about Sina is she very clearly studies the original drum track and plays it exactly like it was played.

At 70 years old I grew up with this music. Over the years music has changed dramatically, (not for the better I fear) Sina you are in my opinion bringing back the lost art of the 70's Rock and Roll groups, which makes my heart smile. Keep ups the great dedication to reviving that lost art.

@@cindysue5474 auctioning? It is Alex's choice. He does not have to pay an insurance bill on his equipment. Alex was the heartbeat of Van Halen. Their story has been told many times by EVH. Alex maybe wants to do other things in his retirement, he deserves every minute of it.

We have not lost Eddie. his influence is in most all rock music. there is still all the albums he played on. I think about him every time I pick up my guitars.

There are plenty of the Gen Z that think previous generations are pointless, with their blinkered, backward attitudes. Even in concession, you try to claim one.
That smile on Siena’s face lets us know that we are in for a musical treat. Eddie Van Halen is smiling down from heaven. Listening to this rocker takes this old geezer back a lot of years. Still sounds so good. And the Van Halen shirt fits right in.

This is a pure crystal and polished diamond! Sina has reached the level where she can carry out the absolute picture and ideal of the drum part that the piece needs. The rolls and fills in this song are like Japanese art, perfect in detail.. But her renditions always work as a whole, too. The groove and touch and feel complete the finished picture. And besides, she rocks like a drum goddess should!! So happy to have been able to follow your journey to the mastery of your art, Sina!

But I love your drum style and who you play I first started when I was 2 years old on my Daddy's drums
So my Dad got me my own drum kit
I still play and still love it with the sweat and the energy for the crowd and everything I hope you never stop and keep up your great playing

Like so many others, I wish I could have been there for the concert, and even at this early date, I’m very much looking forward to the time in 2025 (long wait, but I understand why) when you release a recording of the full concert on your YT channel. A true classic from Van Halen about a young band throwing caution to the wind and chasing their dream. I find it quite interesting that both VH and The Cars had fantastic debut albums in 1978 which would both play a big factor in shaping the sound of the 1980s. Great job on this one Sina, and the Van Halen t-shirt looks amazing too! 😎🎵
