With my OCD I would have taken the opportunity to paint the walls first, then sanded the floor. That way when the the floor done it would all look new. Other wise you could get paint on the new floor doing it after. That’s just me. I’m picky. All and all, you did a terrific job. It looks really good. I need to do the same thing. My garage floor looks like something out of horror movie. Loved the video.
Andre Will Do It I will assume 1200 £. It is totally worth both the time and the money but not sure if worth the back pain. Andre thank you so much you are a true inspiration.
I think this is so satisfying because vicariously it feels like I am doing all the thousands of chores I know my girlfriend wants me to do around the house. Instead, I am watching a RUclips video. "I'll get right on that honey!" yeah right :'D
Wow looks awfully painful grinding the floor with the Hilti like that. But i think the end result looks amazing tho. Definitely worth the time and money but do take care of yourself. I did the grinding as well in the past back in my old home, but we jackhammer the whole floor first to lower it by an inch or two before grinding. So i know how it feels like lol it was the worst.
I was doing epoxy resin professionally for quite some time, if you have never done it before, then props.. There were some mistakes here and there. I see you didn't do the other half, if you ever want some tips let me know, especially on a less painful grinding for your lower back =) Also a more friendly and durable epoxy resin flooring for which there will be less maintanence needed (This clean epoxy surface will show all the dirt and scratches. Keep it up, best regards from Slovenia
TheDim3s he may not want to know but I can certainly use some tips!! I tried to do mine last summer and I... kind of really screwed it up (lack of knowledge)
As an epoxy floor installer myself, I can really appreciate all the hard work that went into your floor. Looks nice, maybe invest in a s26 vac next time though hahaha 👌👌
That was an amazing amount of work and the final result shows. I myself would have used a blower, then a hose, let it dry and poured an ENORMOUS AMOUNT of the epoxy in the middle of the floor and let gravity do the rest.
festool hoover is shit for general work like this. Buy a Nilfisk ! And that Hilti is terrible . the dust levels are mad. And that dust aint nice to your lungs
Good info video. But did not mentioned what you were added some items into bondcoat apart from acetone, also need mention the name of chemical and their proportion sametime interval of curing
Of course it is worth of spending time and money on it, it looks so good and nice to work in, definitely an improvement! So smooth and shiny... Will you show the process of the second part of it? I would like to see it :)
Did you do the other half of the garage or had you planned to stop there? I was always wondering how you work in a stop point and then do you do the next area several days later?
Looks beautiful , hard work pays off .
thanks
It feels so much better when u clean your garage, like a good vibe
dang! this guy deserves a killer workshop re-design. true craftsman
A video of a man cleaning and painting his garage ... SO SATISFAYING !

It looks so great, like marble. I can wait the 48 hours for that.
hy
That turned out really nicely. Good job!
I like it. You did some hard work. I would've just vacuumed and poured it on. Bending/crouching down like that for too long will make me light-headed.
Beautiful finish! That’s going to make cleaning so easy . Looks great!
I have no patience for prep work but I enjoy seeing other people do it lol
Hi Andre, it's been a year now - how well is the epoxy floor holding up? Thinking about doing mine. Thanks.
My back cried when it saw you grinding that floor
My back hurts and im suffocating just watching this.

2:05 When dust cloud started for sure your vacuum filter get clogged.
I tore up carpeting once when I was fourteen. Good times.
thanks
Is it compulsory to do epoxy primer before the epoxy finish? Or just 2 coats of epoxy finish is good enough?
Hey, good to see you uploading a video again!!Nice job btw
Awsome, :-)
What is acetone you use for first coat .and in India where I get epoxy and colour for residents floor
And after he's done sanding he slips into his back brace! 😄
End results look really good! What product/brand did you use?
Attention to Detail. Hooyah!

What are the benefits of epoxy in the floor?
Do you have links to the products you bought?
I want white floors all over my house (living room, kitchen etc.) Do they get dirty easily? scuff marks?
Epoxy paint is really wear resistant and you can clean it same way like tile floor.
I like this work
Oh god! My back hurts just watching!
Great work
you will see all little stains on a white surface though. but great work!
So satisfying
How do you make sure the floor is perfectly levelled?
Thank you for your response. And how mich did it cost you in total?
Andre Will Do It I will assume 1200 £. It is totally worth both the time and the money but not sure if worth the back pain. Andre thank you so much you are a true inspiration.

Tell us about imperfections or touch ups?
Thanks Andre! I assume the black spots must have been suicidal bugs.

"Dust free"
Pretty sure that vacuum cleaner filter got clogged and suction were slim to none.
SMOOTH AF (:
beautiful
I think they need to get rid of the "dust free" part
Nice
I guess you forgot to empty your Vaccuum, which is why it is no longer "dust free"...
1:15 you are going to damage your back on the long run if you keep doing stuff like that, try to find a better way to do it
Are you sponsored by Festool?

That was an amazing amount of work and the final result shows. I myself would have used a blower, then a hose, let it dry and poured an ENORMOUS AMOUNT of the epoxy in the middle of the floor and let gravity do the rest.

Why not "wash" the floor with water to insure no dust remains? Obvs wait until it drys after.
A garage for 2 car
To do this jobe it just $ 3000 labor
Is your workshop just for a hobby or is it related to your job? Any future projects we can look forward to?
Hi, would water pressure washer be enough to skip your grinding step?
How much do you need for this place ? I have 50qm in my Garage 6x9 Meters.
Subbed. Hows your floor? No peel? I will watch your vid again when i do mine this summer.
