    Well done piece, Mike! Great combinations, good method and good job repairing the finish at the end. I actually have a blank downstairs, a maple burl, cast with red dye and copper mica waiting for me. Might have a similar look to the resin.

    Very nice piece. The colors you chose to go against the cherry worked out beautifully. I agree that the humidity works against you when using lacquer. However, the orange peal was more likely the result of having applied wax before the lacquer. Very nice final result.

    WOW Tim you made my wish come true. I always wanted to see a segmented art piece with colored resin. And boy did you deliver. This vase is absolutely stunning!! The colors are just spot on for what you were going for. The wood is beautiful the top of the vase is pure perfection Just everything about this vase it's so gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing😘
