This in-game joke is on the same level as that of Morrowind where you find a dead bloke in the middle of nowhere. Looting his corpse will net you a spell scroll for sky high jump. Once you activate the spell, you'll realize how the other guy died. Fall damage.
@photoo848 "That old game"?!? How dare you hurt me like that 😅 Yeah it was Morrowind. If you were paying attention, you could hear the guy screaming before he hits the ground to give you a clue, although I didn't put it together the first time I played.
@@Zoso14892 sorry, I never played it myself and had forgotten the name. I'll edit my post Signed, somebody who grew up playing that old split screen racing game on the Commodore64
@@photoo848 I loved first discovering that, if you could manage to time it right, you could open dialogue with him and he'd only dejectedly say something to the effect of "I don't wanna talk about it."
After watching this the n-th time (the timing is just comedic gold), I've come to realise the message system in Souls games is basically Cards Against Humanity but (a bit) less rude
I feel like this message would have much more than 70 appraisals if it werent for the uh.... immediate explosion. And those 70 people clearly leveled vigor 😅
The timing honestly couldn't be better. Comics will spend their entire careers dreaming for a moment like that!

THE SINGLE BEST message ever in any Souls or Souls-like game
But only a midrange explosion
I dunno, "Why is it always Elden Ring?" is top tier.

I vividly remember being done in the exact same way by this message
Peak Comedy.
Has this been playing for the last eight or nine minutes? Sure. Am I going to stop it anytime soon? No.

I love the millisecond where Luke's face says he's about to giggle. It's funny until it happens to ME though! 😂
That was the most rapid-fire string of expression changes I've ever seen in a person and it is PRICELESS

Oh Luke, your hubris. It has destroyed you.
I almost apologise for actually LOLing at that.
The exclamation point really is the cherry on top
The comedic timing was perfect 😂
