The Bible has nothing to do with the Church established by Christ on the foundation of the apostles in 33 AD. The Bible was completed about 300 years later. Christ's Church, the Body of Christ, began at Pentecost when the Holy Spirit descended upon Mary and the apostles. Sacred Scripture in its written form and in its oral form are both inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Church established by Christ is the authority, not the Bible, because Christ and his Church are inseparable. He did say that his Church would suffer great trials and persecutions, so thank you for doing what Christ said. The Oral Traditions have nothing to do with interpreting the Bible. Where did you find this lie ? That 3 hours of preaching could have been condensed to 10 minutes. Nothing was added to the Bible. That is a serious lie. You say Purgatory is not in the Bible, well Rapture is not in the Bible also.
You would do well with a study Bible and asking for God’s guidance in reading His Word. If you disagree so much with Dr. Barnett then why not try finding some place where you can interpret the Bible in the way that you yourself see fit, because you’re not capable of understanding scripture in the way God had His Word set down. God does not, cannot lie. His Word is pure. Adding to and taking away doesn’t change His Word, it only comes out the way you perceive, the way that you want it to be. Rightly divide, do not add to or take away and do not twist His Word. You’re in a right house but you’re only here for the wrong reasons.

@@arthouston7361 I agree its the teaching and not what the name is.
@@timmorales1569 That is correct.... because there are many teachings which are not biblical. For example, one of the most obvious is the veneration of Mary. It is nowhere to be found. In fact, it was imported by Constantine, because he wished to convert pagans to Christianity, so he brought along many of their pagan practices, such as idol worship.
One of the 10 commandments in the Bible says that we should not make a graven image....but if you go to many churches, you're going to find all kinds of graven images..... and in fact they conveniently leave out that commandment from their own Bible (mis) translation.

Jesus started the Church of Jesus Christ. Right? It makes sense.
You got me with the hocus pocus prayer. Had to research that one. In actuality it is Latin "Hoc est corpus meum." And I can understand confusion that happened as people were very ignorant. Coupled with all the accents of languages. "Hoc est corpus meum" actually means, in English, this is my body. The high amount of ignorance of people being unable to understand symbolism of unleavened bread being representative of the body of Christ. Not a real body, it is the symbol of a spiritual nature of Christ. People of the time simply could not understand this symbolism. Still a whimsical tidbit of history.
Yeah, they still don't seem to comprehend the kingdom of the soul he taught about.
The Eucharist is not symbolic. At the Last Supper, Christ said "this IS my body, not this represents my body"
@@aussierob7177 Then Christ caused the disciples to break Mosaic Law and the disciples did so willingly.
All believers make up the body of christ which Jesus is the head. In these last days we shall overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our Testimony!
@@hollisball1149 My friend, all members of the body make up the body of Christ. And yes Christ, not Jesus is the head of your Church. Right now I'm not sure who exactly will overcome because only the living God knows who knows him and the wages of sin is death. I would be cautious in giving false testimony because our living God knows us better than we know ourselves and when the book of remembrance is opened up we've got to answer to him for everything we did against him. Do you really know anything about where the "blood of the lamb" even came from? No offense but what many people like yourself write is like parroting what they were indoctrinated with. The day coming will be filled with darkness. The kingdom is near.

John 14:6 KJV - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Psalm 119:142 KJV
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.
John 17:17 KJV - Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Acts 16:13 KJV - And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.
Acts 13:42-44 KJV - And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.
43 Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.
44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
This is the Church Christ started on the truth. Jew and Gentile Christians not separated as it is today Eph 2:13,14 where Jews worship on Sabbath and Christians on Sunday which is a separation from believing Israel Jer 31:31-34, Heb 8:10, 10:16, the Apostles with whom the Covenant was made Matt 26:28, Luke 4:16 as Christ was a Sabbath keeper and would have worshipped on Sunday changing the law Matt 5:17 for us to follow, wherein scripture gives no evidence that He did. Only traditiona of Pagan and Papal Rome to honour the resurrection, traditiions of men; Matt 15:1-3.
Jesus said IF THEY ARE NOT AGAINST ME LEAVE THEM ALONE! CHRISTIANS JUST PREACH GOD’s WORD AND STOP LOOKING AT WHAT OTHER RELIGION IS DOING AND BE LIKE JESUS WITH THE SAMARTIANS

Jesus is the church. He lived as His Father told Him to live. He did everything His Father told Him to do. He also told everyone who seeks God they have to go through Him "Jesus" He said stay away from the hypocrites. "The teachers" Those who pick and choose their scriptures. 2nd Tim 3: 16 says “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” Yes even the books that were removed from the canon. Prove all things. The k.j.v. 1611 has 15 more books than today's k.j.v. And that's not all, there were other books removed also. Jude speaks of a prophet, and taught his people from said prophet's book. Jude also quotes from the book of this prophet. Those who believe all the prophets, and apostles are the real church and the ones we should be listening to.
The church of The Way. Jesus limited his words to the four classes of students. Each gospel is a new beginning. Mark is the first and these "other 70" have begun their walk in the last period of Christ's ministry. Would anyone like to know more?

History shows us that Jesus didn't leave us a bible, the apostles didn't tell us which books belong in the bible, the church fathers never agreed on the 27 books of the NT through the 4th century, not only did they not agree but their list of would-be NT canons were GROWING during this time. None. He inherited the church of God.
This is a joke, right?
