The ViVa Wyndham Dominicus is located just under an hour from the airport in Punta Cana, easily accessible via the motorway.
It is a Beach Hotel near the village of Bayahibe on the Caribbean Sea. Most excursions to Saona Island depart from Bayahibe.

From the lobby you come to a small plaza where there are small shops next to each other.

The food has an overall very nice Italien touch. Don't forget to visit the Trattoria for lunch. I was surprised by choice and quality and would come back here just for the Trattoria.
The hotel it self irritates with different VIP, Super VIP bracelets and totally different architecture . I got lost, just walking with the map in my hand. But then, I only spend one day in the hotel .
Lot's of active people in this resort. The water sport was well visited. Much more then I know from other hotels.
All kajak's were out, windsurfing and sup's.

You will have your Rep at the Hotel ( you can also book with any other rep) You can check online before coming ( make sure pick up from Bayahibe is included) also check Facebook and Instagram. Lot's of tours share their daily activities there and you can first follow for a while to see if you like it, and already ask questions.

Hallo, danke für das Video. Welcher Strand gefällt Dir besser, Bayahibe oder Bavaro bzw welcher fällt flacher ab ?. Schönes Wochenende

Guten Morgen, der Strand in Bavaro ist ja ueber 20 KM lang und wenn man ausserdem auch noch Cabeza de Toro und Uvero Alto dazu zählt, fast unendlich 😇 . Da haben wir natürlich von allem etwas. Flach abfallend und meistens ruhig vom Barcelo Resort hoch oder wilder Surfer Beach in Macao. Je nach Wetterlage natürlich. Bayahibe, find ich immer etwas "Blauer" und auch wunderschön. 🤔 Also der Strand wo ich gerade bin, ist immer der schönste für mich.
