yes most 4x4 racer do that im waiting to buy new tires for mine and i will do it as well, it help keep your quad in the ruts, with a wider rear tire it want to climb out of the rut therefore cause issues like hi-centering ect. i think you can also go a little faster in the ruts. Actually it was a friend, he got high centered and told me to push him, broke the hanger on his exhaust
