I really couldn't help but putt around the neighborhood quickly on the 4mil, and my god does she have power. I can't wait to get her dialed in and actually rip on her!!!

yeah my engine blew... because my brother yoinked it too hard when it had cold engine and we had like 500 meters to the house we were laughing and crying at the same time

With a 2 stoke fouled plugs are common if u get the perfect mixing ratio the plugs will last way longer! What’s the mixing ratio for your banshee?

You're gonna need a oversized desert tank lol. With all those upgrades it's gonna waste alot of gas

I feel you when you said nobody likes you riding around the neighborhood, the other day some lady tried following me for literally no reason other that I was riding my 400ex on the road, going the speed limit, stopping at stop signs, then I left her in the dust and flipped her off. It’s just sad that people can’t just mind their own business

I did a single carb setup on mine some years ago. Best thing I ever did for that motor, low end torque plus top end.

welcome to the 421 world. they suck gas like crazy. especially with big 35mm carbs. no more reserve either. haha
You can get dual pingle with reserve option. I got one on mine
Fuel ratio= 40:1
This just so happens to be the same exact fuel consumption ratio for 2stroke vs 4stroke.

We used to run 100:1 Amsoil. Had 8 Banshees in the family and never had problems. We kept them mostly stock. Pipes, some head work, port and polish, rad valves and stock carbs. Reliability and great power. Boy I miss them. We live in Oregon and ran them in the dunes. Amazing dune machine. 4 mil Banshee with stock swing arm is crazy.
I JUST SAY THIS VIDEO I'VE OWNED 2 BANSHEES AND LIKE THIS ONE MY SECOND WAS A MOD BUILD.THESE ARE THE BEST SPORT ATVs AND I HAVE HAD MANY DIFFERENT ATVs. THIS IS SO IMPRESSIVE, THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME OF HOW AWESOME THERE ARE.

Sweet banshee brotha I had a 98 stage 3 jet kit FMF pipes front to back Bored .30 over new o ring chain with new front and rear sprockets digital speedo led lights grippy seat cover and all new stickers new handle bars and a shit load of other stuff I can’t remember i wish I never sold it but dam bud you got an awesome banshee there

Enough glazing, I had a 99 banshee for a while and it was by far the funnest bike I've ever had. You just can't beat that "she's a screamer" attitude a banshee has.

Man I remember when I was in highschool I worked at a yamaha/brp dealer and there top mechanic was a diehard Yamaha guy...either. sleds, quads, bikes... and he bought a black and red limited edition banshee and right out of the crate pimped it the fuck out. He had Bill's pipes and silencers and I have never heard a better sounding 2T in my life. Sounds 10x better than FMF or procircuit.

oh and those built banshees CHUG fuel! I didn't have a desert tank on mine but I had to have the 4x4 wheelers haul a 5 gal jug of fuel every ride

Bought a used crf 250. Had to push it a lot because the valves were bad. So if I killed it it often times wouldn’t kickstart unless it was roll started. After I got my career going I said forget buying anything used and got a 450L. I shouldn’t have bought it but I’m glad I did 💁♂️
The same shit happened to me and I had to push my YZ all the way home in the middle of summer with all my gear on. Like you said, I bet my neighbours were happy about that. Lucky I'd just pumped the tyres up to 30psi so it rolled OK :)

Nice Shee build Micheal! I can confirm that stroked shees do love some gas.
You said one plug was falling out. Take both your spark plug caps off and ohm them.
If they are blow 5 ohm it is no the resistor in the cap is going bad. I think one is at 3.5 ohm witch will not burn as hot as the other this is why you could be getting more smoke out of 1 pipe. Or carb are not synced properly.
Example if you put a 9.9 volt battery to a light it will be bright
Then you put 5 volts to the same light, it's not going to be as bright.
Same with the plug caps.
If I were you eyedrum Maxim Castor 927 a 64-ounce jug is proximately 35 to 40 bucks. It's the best oil on the market that I believe I've ran it on alcohol And on gasoline does not leave carbon deposits on your Dome when the top of your piston
I run my bike at 36/1 my son's cobra at 50/1

I love living in the country, we have quads and dirtbikes go down the roads all the time and nobody cares. I ride my cr125 down the road all the time. And it’s just out of the county’s jurisdiction so cops don’t do anything when called.
Nice banshee and nice video - banshee was my first quad back in 2002-2004 I had a MX banshee with 2 into 1 trinity carb, pro circuit pipes, lonestar arms, works shocks, now I have a ltr-450 fully built check it out on my channel. Havent raced in about 3 years though I think I lost interest when all the tracks quit racing quads .... still looks pretty sitting though. Been doing more outdoor things instead of racing, a lot cheaper lmao

Putting a crank in a Ban is like spending a couple grand in a four stroke. My next bike will be one of these just because they’re cheap to build and ALOT easier to work on. I’ve had as many as 10 bikes since my freshman year in high school but never a banshee only worked on a couple that my friends owned. Just bought a 700xx for me and the wife and dropped a big cam and 12.1 piston to fuck with the raptor clan and it definitely worked but a stock ban with pipes would still mop the floor with me.

Same thing happened to me last weekend. 😂😂😂 on the main road and out of nowhere it started to bog. Then eventually it shut off. Then i was able to put it on reserve and got home

Got an 86 250r Trike.. I don't care for quads to much.. but man do i want a banshee. Definitely getting one at some point. Beautiful banshee =) Also don't forget to rejet if you change the mixture. I believe if you go to 32:1 you'd have to go up in jets to get more fuel otherwise you risk running lean. To much oil, and not enough gas.

Michael, you need to mix at 32-1 and use Klutz oil, after using this oil for years if you open the case it will be clean inside.
