Funny watching Erik try to humbly talk about the play at ~9 minutes. It was a ridiculously good play by you, just nuts. You dug a redirected block from a middle then made a perfect pass off of the recycle. Certifiably fantastic.

There are two Norwegian players in the Polish plusliga now! Thats kinda cool. Andreas Takvam who plays in Slepsk Suwalki and Jonas Kvalen who plays in Barkom.
Takvam is pretty deadly I must admit

I am still royally annoyed with how both Trentino and Zaksa ended up in the same Champions League pool. Where was God when these pools were drawn? 😄
Hahahaha try not to be annoyed. It’s ok! It just means we don’t match up in the first round of playoffs if we both advance!

Hey Erik! When it comes to improving your passing ability, what do you think is most important to keep in mind during training? Is there anything specific that you like to focus on or something you keep in your mind when doing so? Thanks for the awesome videos!
Thank you for watching! Hmmm I can’t think of one thing but I always try to remember the things I talk about in these videos…footwork, angles, shoulder forward, distance between legs and arms. If I had to choose one focus on your angles and how you can make them when you pass! Hope that helps!

Please do any of the Argentina’s matches (preferably vs Iran as this was the longest). All their group stage matches ended with 5 sets was also something to look into?😂

I’m new in volleyball, somehow playing libero. I struggle with passing float serves because I can’t just sit on them. Any tips?
Off topic, but two things. 1. Did you attend/ get scouted for the USA NTDP program? And 2. You should totally do a libero camp
Thanks for the comment. So back in the day I did High Performance which is the old NTDP. I did camps from 2004-2005 then played for the Youth and Junior National Team. It was huge for my development. I would love to do a camp or 2 this summer most likely in Southern California!

Yes for sure!
do you prefer 4 man serve receive? when do you use it more than a 2 or 3 man?
It depends on the situation but teams will use 4-man serve receive when the other team has a very strong server on the line
Do you have any favorite brands for volleyball gear? Shoes, knee pads, etc.
Currently I wear Nike vb shoes. I also enjoy mizuno knee pads and Bauerfiend arm sleeves
@@ErikShojivolleyball Which Nike VB shoes do you wear if you don't mind my asking? I used I believe the hyperspeed courts and they didn't feel like they had much ankle support.

Eric how many and what sports did you play growing up?
Growing up I played volleyball, tennis for 8 years, basketball for 6, baseball for 7, and soccer for 4. So a lot! 😀😀

I think Just reading reading the situation it was clear he was going to set to position 4. Ball was off the net, very high, and push towards area 4
