Bitcoin using energy is the best part. It opens the market up for new energy creation at lowest costs, and it stabilizes energy grid currently.
If you run your own node, nobody can control yours, plus all bitcoin versions are reverse compatible. Nodes control bitcoins decentralization.

Usually, the people who say Ethereum will flip Bitcoin are those who don't have any Bitcoin.
Nothing will beat out a store of value. Don't forget that 60% of golds use case is store of value with a 10trillion market cap. Ethereum operates as a comapny. No comapny will ever compete with a global store of value. You are wrong.

☝🏼ETH is controlled by Vitalyk(skinny Russian dude), BTC is controlled by no one(decentralised). The growth would be phenomenal for BTC, whereas ETC will take a good share of the crypto space due to the robust ecosystem. The negative side of ETH is the huge gas fees which is controversial. ETH has a huge competition from SOL(compare the growth stats) since SOL is also being built on a solid ecosystem with very low gas fees…..infact the growth rate of Solana could surpass all majors, even BTC. Check last years stats where SOL marketcap is to the tune of 64Billion$ and the price has pumped 10X🎯😍
What happens after the election when we have all new SEC commissioner’s and they feel Ethereums ICO constitutes it a security under the Howey test?
They wouldn’t be able to use SEC vs Ripple as case law because Ripple didn’t have an ICO.
Ethereum doesn’t have legal clarity, just a free pass.
BTC will never be surpassed for its tokenomics and for be a store of value. Having said, what you said is fact, so far that ETH has provide more opportunities and loads of other coins have built on it despite the high gas fee and the competitions from the like of Solana and so on. However we would have to see how well the BRC20 tokens built on BTC will do in this bull run and how Bitfinity will play in bridging the gap between bitcoin and etherium ecosystem. Furthermore the importance of ICP in making BTC more scalable could in fact work in favour of BTC.
About the energy that not TRUTH, Bitcoin doesn't use that much compare to other.
Good stuff, I'm not here just for money, I'm hoping to invest in the future of finance. BTC is a shitcoin compared to everything else right now. The only thing it has going is scarcity.

Do not listen to this man he seems to have no understanding of Bitcoin and how it truly works instead he has a very small amount of knowledge of it. Bitcoin at the time of this comment is at 1 trillion dollars in market cap. ETH will likely never hit that bitcoin also has wall streets backing with the ETFs which ETH will never have. BTC is the greatest financial asset one can own and it’s not even close anymore every coin and store value consistently loses value when compared to BTC.
