Great video and keep this series going! But there is one thing I really would like to request you. Please, if you are doing this series of historical battles of the Eastern Front, please add the battle of the Don's Bend, on the northern flank of the German defence line at Stalingrad! It wiuld be nice to see the members of the Romanian 3rd Arny fighting side by side with their German allieds against the soviet weaves. I mentioned this many times that nobody made a video of Men of War in which appeared my country, and I feel it a bit as a shame? Why is there no such video? Please Diplex, add them into one of these battles, because there are many occasions in which you can add the Romanians!
Technicly yes. The Romanian 3rd and 4th Armies were placed on the north and the south flank of Stalingrad, together with the Italian and Hungarian units. My great-grandfather fought there, and was very lucky that his unit escaped the soviet steamroller, which made a lot of damage in the area. The Germans also had soldiers there, but not enaugh to support their allieds, which is considered one of the huge blunders commited by the German Hight Command.
He'd need to use GSM which adds a lot of factions, among them Romanians. But Hungarians are my favourites. How about Battle of Paulis? Should be a decent compromise.
*Somewhere on the Eastern Front Winter 1941* *WIP* The cold winter air hung with an iron grip of the lands of Russia and Adam Herz felt it. Even with his cold weather gear the harsh winter air was felt straight to his bones. Looking up he saw the nearby howitzers start to open fire for that day's offensive. Inspecting his Kar 98 he stood up when his CO waved him into the halftrack. The small tracked vehicle was not made for comfort as the 10 men started to pour in being packed together like sardines in a can. Feeling the thing move her peered over the top of the halftrack and saw the massive line moving in on the Russian fortification with Panzer 4s leading ahead with a small detachment not too far behind. Suddenly though a loud *boom* could be heard as a Russian antitank gun tore through one of tanks ahead of him. Quickly he sat back down with a pull from one of his squadmates as the first rounds of HMG fire started to ping off the outer hull of the armored vehicle. Suddenly it stopped and the back two doors sprang open as the 10 men poured out being covered by the MMG on the halftrack but this proved to be of little use as two of them were already on the ground in a pool of their own blood. Quickly though they crouched and used the vehicles and small ruts in the snow covered field as cover from the bunker. Slowly they pushed forward and the final MG was knocked out with a good shot from one of the Stugs. With the last fortification down the line moved forward and the Soldat then found himself along with five of his men assaulting a small position in the center of the farmtown. "Cover me!" Adam said and with that he took one of his stick grenades and threw it destroying the center sandbag position they were quickly able to secure the area though with losses starting to increase his unit is pulled back.
The opening song is from battlefield 1942 and 1942 secrets of WWII, man that brings back memories. Battlefield had each country with their original vics, planes, ships, subs, and their was a v-2 rocket you could fly along with a jetpack... aahhh what an awesome game, still the best one to this day.
I seriously hadn't watched you in what seemed like a year (or 8-9 months) and i have to say your editing has improved quite a lot. I also like the roleplay. Me personally like doing last stand where a small force garrison a fort or hilltop and have to fend off a larger force but since my computer isn't really made for that I can only use about 3500 troops per battle
I wanted to personally thank you, you have greatly reenforced my love of the second world war and war in general (until I start thinking about how many people died) your content is amazing as is your English. I'm curious as to where a swed learned such English
Epic intro Diplex. Cenematics and the Battlefield theme was outstanding. 10/10 comrade. Edit: I just realized, we haven't seen any Hetzer Tank Destroyers in any videos for the Germans. They were a captured Czech design used by the Germans after all.
WW2 in the eastern front, this is so good and I would like to see after the german armored advance that a battalion would go more in the snowy forest or hold the destroyed town.. loved the vid.🔥🔥
Put a battery of artillery maybe 6 - 8 guns (German) and shell the forest as a opening salvo for part two, love your vids been subscribed for about 2 years keep up the good work
I liked the intro, but I felt this video wasnt action packed enough, I really enjoy your battles when there's thousands of troops and other units on the field in a wave based kind of battle
I have an idea for like a series kinda thing Follow one soldier around for the entire battle field (you can change people if and when they die) and see how well they do! :)
in 1941 the Germans complained to their command about how their panzer 3s and 4s were outclassed by the t-34s and Kv-1s. German early war tanks were really not that good apart from the fact they had radios and the Germans concentrated them together.
Holy shit. Wait. Livestream and your fans can come with you on an op or two and go through the battle with you! Like he said we're watching and he's playing how about back seat gaming style! Anyone else? Oh and also I just realized that this was Winterwald from RO2.
The intro was AWSOME. T34 was a good tank for sure but Pz lll with its 5cm KwK is capeble to pennetrate it as well. Seems a littlebit to OP, but not as mutch as the IS 3 is in this game... To bad u realised the T34 on your outer right flank to late, he had cost you almost 4 or 5 tanks befor.
Schädel Fraktur not in real life, the T-34 was superior to even early war Pz. IVs which were in it of themselves superior to Pz. IIIs, the sloped armour made it too much for the German guns of the time to handle, on top of this, early German tanks were based around WW1 models which meant box shaped hull design which would be penetrated with ease by the T-34’s guns at around 500 m or so, it wasn’t until a while later that Germany upgraded their tanks and introduced new ones that the Soviets needed to upgrade theirs and make new ones (mainly heavies) to be able to remain effective in armoured warfare, at this point the Soviets had a very effective and massive factory system which allowed them to quickly make changes and develop new tanks to successfully exceed German machinery until the end of the war.
Michael Wittman destroyed 7 T-34's with his stug 3. He positioned himself behind a hill and waited for them to come over then destroyed them at close range.
can you upload missions and maps onto the workshop please? i really love all the things you do and being able to play the videos myself would be so cool!
It would probebly take some time but, i would absolutlie love a custom PUBG senario where you put teams that are collecting guns and fighting and stuff. Just like you did those gladiotor episodes where they would battle and stuff. I think you know what i mean now😂
Great video man!, it's good to see some good old eastern front, anyway, can you do indonesian revolution or some more asianic battle?, i'm already subscribed 2 years ago.
One of the best intros so far

Romanian fighting side by side with Third Reich? emmmmmmm

so you just simply want diplex to recreate the battle?
Wentao Cui it would not be a bad idea...
He'd need to use GSM which adds a lot of factions, among them Romanians.
But Hungarians are my favourites. How about Battle of Paulis? Should be a decent compromise.
The intros keep getting better and better

T-34 was literally impenetrable except versus the towed 88 AT gun and that in short-medium ranges
greekmarine really?
Anthony Yagoda sloped armour, Soviets thought about it
The Intro Song

That intro 😍😍😍

Badass Intro!
You should expand the series to encompass the eastern front through the wars end, maybe tell the story of a unit
Michael Wittman destroyed 7 T-34's with his stug 3. He positioned himself behind a hill and waited for them to come over then destroyed them at close range.
Bf1942 is and always will be the best battlefield game.
Look at all of those fallen trees! Well, I'm certain You Tube is going to hear from the Sierra Club about this!
