You're pretty much the only one that goes the extra mile with testing the deck through 40 games which gives a solid idea of what the deck is about. MTGA is so volatile that you really need that amount of games to prove if a deck is good or not. I went 13 - 2 with a monoblack deck a couple of weeks ago, then a week after, I played it and got crushed and went 0-8. Not sure if the matchmaking or the shuffler had enough of me but it really shows how inconsistent a win rate can be over and extended period of time. Anyways, a like for the deck and you but also for that super cute Mr Wrinkles in his basket lol
Yeah I really wanted to have at least one thing that set me apart from everyone else, since it's hard to be unique entirely in a saturated niche like MTG content, and 40 games felt like enough to know a decks potential, without being an unreasonable goal for production of the videos. I am glad that my choice resonates with you as that was precisely why I decided on it!
Always check how you win. That's what many people are missing while drown on wins. Same thing with losing. Always remember that mana screw/flood and bad starting hand even after mulligans are a given.
Thank you for he content.. This deck looks really fun, I love Ruthstein and Glissa, and a nice inclusion off the Dross you dont see that card too often ;) I am loosing my mind completely over how insanely broken Caretakers talent is in that Boros deck... Can you tell I just got double sunfalled, while they gained 6 life and drew 4 cards of two carrot cakes, hahaha.. I am honestly taking a break till it leaves the meta, I cannot craft it myself, and no way I can beat it, i think I have a 90% lose rate against that boros deck, because all my decks needs to get on the board to win, and it is not happening when opponent draws on average 2-3 cards pr. turn to find his board wipes, while producing chomp blockers and gaining life....
@@severin_7 The worst part is I have just finished fine tuning a Taii Wakeen deck to be actually playable in the old mono red, lizards, black discard meta... I loooove Taii wakeen, but know it is unplayable again because I can´t deal with caretakers talent and getting sunfalled and temp lockdown 60% of my games, as I only have plays against good old single target removal, and see no way to tune it to actually deal with enchantments and board wipes.. Can´t beeive the day has already come where I would wish Farewell was still a card I could craft in standard , just to beat every Boros control player I run into:) At least there is RUclips, and tomorrow I will WOE quick draft, looking forward to trying a new format (for me new at least since I startet arena 2 months ago. Anywats appreciate your content and this deck looks really fun..
@@mortenfrederiksen3063 Yeah Tail Wakeen is a very cool card, I wish it was playable, but yes WOE was a pretty fun and cool set and the quickdrafts for it should be fun! Good luck!
I legit have only seen one lizards player since bloomburrow dropped. Though it feels like that more has to do with the fact the Bo1 is slanted to dealing with the raw burn of mono-red that most aggro tempo strats get hit by proxy.
must just be me dealing with lizards then lol. all I know is I run into them more than I'd like and they are just as much of a pain as mono red in my opinion since they have basically a lizard version of burning tree emissary
@@severin_7 could also be that a deck that hasn't had a good budget build found for it so the win rates end up being highly skewed. I've been hovering around plat one for most of the month so I tend to face very few optimized lists but plenty of either half upgraded lists like I end up running or poorly executed net deckers. The boros swap has also been challenging to deal with.
CGB has a pretty decent UW list. Dunno if i would play esper though, there is very little payoff these days. Cutdown isnt exactly a great spell right now. If you're missing a 1 mana answer for mono red, there is Elspeth's smite. No real reason to add black, imo.
I think esper would be okay if you are planning on playing more planeswalkers and less hard control. U/W is going to be a better pure control combo but if you want to have more wincons than i'd suggest playing it with a copy or two of aclazotz, maybe kaya and vraska and liliana? I'd have to brew and see.
Golgari is one of my favorite color combos! Amazing stuff as always!
Same here, i'd say abzan is my absolute favorite but golgari scratches the same itch!
Just keep at it and the subscribers will come Sev! Good stuff as always 👍🏼
Thanks, I am glad you enjoyed it, and i'm not stoppin lol!

CONGRATS!🎉
Thank you so much for the support! I am so grateful!
Not to be villainous about it...
Where's the fun in NOT being villainous 😂
It rises in not playing the villain....but playing the agonist...and not poking a fun at those we care about....
Hi man u are freaking good man! Any tips on control? Not boros One i mean...like esper? Is this viable?

😂 so brew and show me ❤ nice Channel man see you around in mythic. ravenousbaloth82 over here
@@robertosansone8992 haha I am due to make a control list soon so maybe! see you around!
I think its better to use vinelasher than bill as it gives you more crime triggers
Go for it! I don't think there's any thing wrong with that, my lists are just how I prefer them, and I always encourage iteration!
