Love the videos Charlie; was looking for some videos by skilled players to see all the less intuitive things about the game I was missing in order to better complete the harder "save the crew option" and not disappointed lot of great tidbits in here, particularly that you need to manage your power differently than similar games and that pesky toggle to allow manual delivery of materials to machines if they have a conveyor. Fun tip: you can find the location of veins another way if you don't have enough power at the moment to scan. When you mouse over an uncovered vein that you haven't scanned yet, you'll get an orange message on a black background to the extent of "you have to scan this to see what it is/mine it". Well that same message shows up if your mouse moves over it while it's still in the walls. You also get 100% resource recovery when salvaging buildings which is kind of unusual; only costs the price of new wires/conveyers so you can abuse that.
From what i remember about playing the demo, the wires dont have a limit, but you can have breakdowns, and then nothing will pass through that building, so having backup wires from batteries and solar panels is always a good idea, I went with the 1 solar panel into 1 battery into a pole, it cost alot of metal for all the poles, but they can have multiple connections so the power can always get through.
@joshnoodlehead in ur bulk storages. once a conveyor is hooked up, it turns the drones from being able to deliver to those automatically. If u go into the bulk storage drone settings, u can turn them back on

This must be a walk in the park for you compared to : Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic. Really enjoy all your building games.

Anyone else notice the date discrepancies? It says in the top right the date is 2080. But there was a pop up from an exploration saying 2083-2089
