I love an old timer! I remember buying one when I was in middle school at a Roses department store lol. Long time ago. Wish I had it and it’s box! They look great! I’d never seen a red bone. That’s cool! God bless you buddy!
Beautiful examples of old timers! That red bone one is sweet, I’m in the lookout for one since they are from my birth year! Thanks for sharing! Hope you’re having a great week man!
My first good knife was a 194OT from Kmart in 1983. I was whittling in the yard and left it outside and it got chopped up by the lawnmower. My dad was so angry. I bought me a few more since then. Lol!
Great video! Ive just got into collecting USA made Schrade OTs in the last couple years. Theyre just super well made knives and affordable. Great video
Absolutely correct!!! I couldn't remember what the 3rd model of the set was. I have the 34OT red bone and the 8OT is in the video obviously. I couldn't remember the 108OT, so thank you very much.
So excellent Crawford! I deeply appreciate you showing these knives. Im Going to get a 194, and I’m going to be on the hunt for a red bone because I’m a redbone nut! I never knew they even existed before this video! Who knew? Also, I am dumbfounded why you don’t have well 2k subs? You have an excellent channel, great content, amazing knives, you have such excellent tastes in knives! Plus, I sincerely think you are a wonderful young man I consider my friend! God bless you buddy!
Great video memory lane for me. All very fine . Especially like the gunstock trapper👍💯👊good video showed the knives up close very well with details and info 👍
I had the red bone 8 OT, beautiful knife. Sadly had to sell it. Great knives you have there fo sho! Thank you for showing them. Have a great week, and a Merry Christmas 🎄
Great collection Crawford! Love to find that redbone for my collection! I have all the Usa derlin stockmans, which includes the massive 858ot lumberjack that’s actually a 1/4 inch longer than the 75 from Case! They are fantastic knives and becoming more collectible!
The 8OT was introduced in 1960. I’d have to say that knife is mid 60’ to mid 70’s. If it were early 60’s it would say Walden, NY. It saying NY makes it any early model.
Beautiful knives. The Red Bone one is pre 80's because when they released them in the 80's they were Tang stamped as a Heritage knife and the shield is dated. If You like that one do a search for Vintage Schrade Heritage pocket knives. My favorite is the Red Bone Muskrat. The best old timer that I have is the "Grand Dad's Old Timer, II Limited Edition which has the etched backsprings. I am a new subscriber.... Take care 🙏
I say it all the time….. them Schrade old timers are the best they are the best well built knives out there…… I am proud of my old timer collection….. I’ll have to break them out and show you my collection I think you’ll like them thsnks for showing them I loved seeing them 😊
Yessir I can’t say enough how well they are built, they are very sturdy knives. You will definitely have to break them out now!!! 😂 Thanks for watching!
Where do I get one of them leather trays??.. Wanna trade for one??.. I've got probably 200+ knives.. Just now picked up two today. A Northfield 221124 Antique Autumn smooth bone, and a GEC 220124 RED STONE ESPL.. that makes my 15th GEC/NORTHFIELD... GREAT VIDEO BUDDY... ALWAYS ENTERTAINING AND ALWAYS WATCHING... 👍🙏👏
@@davidstalter6006 The leather tray is made by Sage Grouse leather on instagram and he has a website. I think they are around 40-50$ depending on design. Thanks for watching!!

They definitely are well made and affordable!!!
The Redbone 8OT is part of a 1986 Old Timer knife set by Schrade, 2400 were made and numbered. The knife set included a 8OT, 34OT, & 108OT.
Absolutely correct!!! I couldn't remember what the 3rd model of the set was. I have the 34OT red bone and the 8OT is in the video obviously. I couldn't remember the 108OT, so thank you very much.
