Welding Pliers Proper Uses

  • Today I show the correct way to use welding pliers (welpers) and all the different uses. These are very handy when welding with a mig welder.     Now you did it Arco. I am going to have to purchase a pair of the pliers that's made for the welder. I hate to say it, but I have been using a pair of channel locks all this time. My Bad!

    Buy the best quality you can buy and use in conjunction with tip dip wax. And you will never have a blocked or furry shroud again.

    Great vid bro ! 50 years of hobby MIG use and never owned a pair of proper welding pliers. Will be buying a set next weekend at the local welding supplies store...

      I wrote the same thing I welded for a living for 14 year's and never owned pliers like those. I order one and I will see what's the difference between the two? I'm retired welder forced for medical reasons. Do it now for hobby.

    Arco right after you made this video I order one of those pliers tool's to see what is the difference between me other pliers that I have been using for year's. I have never own pliers like those.
    I'll have to see what's the difference?

    you fortgot about another feature. it has a slot there right next to the cuting edge that helps you unthread the tip of the gun

    When fabricating heavier gauge 3/16 or 1/4 do you prefer stick or mig?

      I prefer mig its just cleaner and very strong welds 👍
