I'm an android user by the way.
The one thing that is a plus by using the App instead of entering it yourself in the settings is that the App works on both WiFi and cellular service, entering 1.1.1.1 in settings works only when connected to WiFi.
Yes I agree. When I made this video there were too many flaws to justify it. Every update sinse has been making the app better and better. In the follow up video I believe I addressed this.
Don't get the Dislikes at all. This Video was good from my Perspective. Good Job! Anyway, I can say that it has definitely increased my internet speed. My ISP often has problems with their DNS server which is why my speed is being throttled to kb/s transmission speeds. That's why I set Cloudflare's DNS server as my primary one and therefore hadn't any such problems anymore. Sure, even Cloudflare's DNS sometimes has its speed losses here and there. But I can live with it, because it does not happen as often and especially as long as with the default dns server that I previously had.
Added the Warp 1.1.1.1 App on my iPhone and iPad several months ago. It seemed to work quite well initially. We upgraded our Xfinity ISP to 1G speed for internet. Found that my router was not able to handle those speeds especially for WiFi. Ordered a RAX70 NetGear router. Hooked it up and it was up and running pretty quickly. Did some checking regarding DNS settings on the router and picked three DNS that seemed to give excellent results. Once I did that I began to see that my iPhone and iPad were not working very well on WiFi now. Lost connection to the internet at times and while testing speeds using Ookla Speedtest the WiFi was slow much of the time compared to 1G being paid for. I finally decided to further troubleshoot the devices and deleted Warp 1.1.1.1 app from them and everything began to work very nicely again. Perhaps there were conflicts with the App and the new DNS I picked. Not sure.

Glad you enjoyed the video! Appreciate your sub and viewership, but the 1dot stuff was kind of a one off since it was so different from other stuff that was out. The channel has shifted more toward smart home and home automation with some other stuff peeking in occasionally. A ping test also wouldn’t be very fair unless you live in Chicago because from the comments I have seen, it is VERY dependent on location to server and how large of an area that server is serving.

This video was also a combination of bugs when the app first released and reasons why the service might not be for you because it’s not truly a VPN service. I believe I have a total of four videos on the subject of 1.1.1.1 and warp. I highly suggest giving them all a quick watch
@@BenderTubeOG how do they make profit then?
On this service they really don’t unless you pay for WARP+
Do it on your router so you wont manually configure every device nor use the 1.1.1.1 app
I do recommend that for the home, but on-the-go you don’t really have that option. And if you have seen my updated videos to this you’ll know they are some serious benefits if you use WARP
I changed my wifi (not hotspot) DNS 1 = 1.1.1.1 & DNS 2 = 1.0.0.1
Is it safe? Please answer me..I just want to watch anime on the website but my country's government has banned many anime websites in my country😔
This won’t change or open up access to things that are blocked in your country.
@@BenderTubeOG Thank you for information..But now I can open the website that has been blocked😁
Cool. I would still suggest a different VPN if you’re trying to access blocked content. Whatever weird IP blocking your ISP did through DNS queries probably won’t work for everything
@@BenderTubeOG Is it safe if I use Private DNS available for Android 9 and above?
Edit : dns.google
This is the only service I’ve reviewed. I personally use WeVPN, but I suggest you do some research to see what is best for you in your area

I agree and have an updated video on it
Wait I really don’t know what cloud flare is but if I get it on my phone can I connect the vpn to my ps4
It doesn’t work that way sorry.
BenderTube which OVH should I connect to my ps4?
I use WeVPN as my actual VPN service along with 1.1.1.2as my DNS. WARP is only used to optimize my mobile data traffic on the go. I would check out Craylor Made and ask him. He’s a bit more knowledgeable than I am.
BenderTube oh okay
Broo I connected my wifi to it after some time the wifi us not working pls solve my problem bri pls
You have to talk to their support. There are way too many things that it could be for me to try to troubleshoot in the comment section.
I would just say disable the service so you can use your Wi-Fi and talk to cloudflare to find a remedy
Can u do a small vedio bro pls
No because I don’t know if I would cover your issue or not. My Wi-Fi doesn’t work does not come from one problem or have one solution
@@BenderTubeOG ok broo tq,

I don’t see why it would. It doesn’t change your location. It just routes your traffic and encrypts it if you have warp+
And it doesn’t hide your IP
@@BenderTubeOG yeah , encrypts file also got banned today.

@@BenderTubeOG what about warp+ unlimited, would this secure my transmission better for streaming..?
Neither one is going to help mirror to your tv. If you’d like to use 1.1.1.1 at home I suggest you change the dns on your router. Then all your devices will use it.
@@BenderTubeOG our problem is we are in the country, and got rid of Hughes net, which was a joke. so no WiFi, we have weboost, but use data from the phone; I'm even considering a 20 foot hdmi cord..

i used to get 40ms and after using cloudfare 1.1.1.1 i got 96ms which is stupid and i uninstalled it right away
Internet speed - 300mbps upload and download
I have heard from others that usage outside the US is hit or miss. Less servers overseas so it’s great if you’re kind of near it, but many have said they are connecting to a server in another country.
You may have to do your own research to find out where the servers are located in your geographical area
Gettr is hidden behind cloudflare and I can't delete my account. Does anyone know how?
this app is secure or not
Secure for what exactly? It will not hide you IP or change your geolocation. It just helps route traffic more effectively for warp+ and gives your ISP less information than they would normally get. Information that ISP’s sell
@@BenderTubeOG but it doesn't steal your private data right? such ass password
No
Do you still have to use a vpn service ie IPVanish with 1.1.1.1 or is this over kill, counter productive etc?
As I explained, 1.1.1.1 serves a different purpose
1.1.1.1 is for DNS, although it can secure you in public WiFi. For that, a DNS resolver is really all what you need. If you demand and yearn for more protection, just use a VPN.
Decrease download speed but decrease ping for game
From what I have seen in the comments, quality seems to differ depending on region.
I still can connect to my tv with the app on.
It was a bug in the software at the time the video was made. Since there have been numerous updates since then it was probably fixed. I also have a follow up video which I would suggest you watch about how Now recommend the app
No
DaBoiJ so what is the goal here? I only ask because usually when you cast content from a phone to tv, the tv app takes over pulling in the stream. The phone is more a remote that just tells the tv what to look up
DaBoiJ hmm maybe a full vpn service on your router. Unless it’s Wi-Fi for your whole building. Then unfortunately it’s kind of out of my area of knowledge
@@BenderTubeOG okay thanks man! Apriciate your feedback like crazy!
Apparently on my Android Galaxy 10se.. it wont let me choose if i can put 1 1.1.1 on my phone as a dns private server cause my phone says its locked 🔒 and that i can either choose to open it temporarily or permanently plus if i go to add a private vpn to my phone a weird list of options with many lettered choices shows up to select from so i got too nervous and just stopped before i made a poor decision without checking with you...just send me step by step instructions for me and I'll see if i should do it or not... great website...thanks
I don’t even own that phone. I bet if you do a Google search about private DNS servers on a Samsung galaxy S 10e Someone will have a video actually explaining the settings on your specific device. Then you can apply that to what I showed you in my videos and boom everyone is a winner
Nice!!! Subscribed! But can you make a comparison on ping on different private dns'??
Glad you enjoyed the video! Appreciate your sub and viewership, but the 1dot stuff was kind of a one off since it was so different from other stuff that was out. The channel has shifted more toward smart home and home automation with some other stuff peeking in occasionally.
A ping test also wouldn’t be very fair unless you live in Chicago because from the comments I have seen, it is VERY dependent on location to server and how large of an area that server is serving.
Also meant to add that Craylor Made might be a good person to ask. He knows way more than me in terms of VPNs and the like
Warp can't connect to RUclips and still warp vpn is useless
Idk you might want to try to do some troubleshooting. I have no issues with RUclips using 1dot or WARP since they made fixes about a week after this video. WARP and WARP+ have their purpose. It's just different from your usual VPN.
Thanks for the DNS config.
No problem!
Why not just add to the router ?
This is the Mobile App. For use when you aren’t on WiFi. And I’m pretty sure I suggest that in the video, but also there are a couple follow up videos to this

You say that 1.1.1.1 warp is amazing in a different video, but you say you shouldn't use it.
This was the first video the week they released the app and WARP didn’t exist yet. I have 2 follow ups to it. You seem to have watched the WARP one first.
@@BenderTubeOG I watched this video first but got like 2 videos saying you should use 1.1.1.1. thanks for the update

Can 1.1.1.1 dns work together with google app?
From what I was told, Google kind of forces their DNS when using their apps unless you do some crafty coding at the router level.
Of course you’re not going to see devices on your network when you’re on a vpn. You’re not “on” your network anymore
1. It isn’t a true VPN. It only changed the DNS when this video was released
2. It was a bug that was fixed a week later.
