Love this quick helpful demo. One note of warning, though. As someone who uses this functionality often I can tell your readers that some PDF's don't read very well. Some you will only be able to see the first page or some of the data elsewhere. There is a complex fix for this which uses VBA and Power Automate to convert the file to Word, then back to PDF! But if you want to do that manually it means the Get Data functionality will work on your new PDf file.
In my excel in get data option doesn't have from pdf option. Can you please tell me how I can fixed it

Oh, this is what exactly what I wanted. Though I had watched this tip somewhere else but forgot to apply. I'm happy I haven't worked on the new project yet which involved copy table from pdf.

What is the pdf file saved in? Where did Excel find it? How did it get jnto Sample data? Did you save it to a folder "sample data"?

What version of Excel does this work on? On both my Mac and PC I only have the option to get external data from access, from Web, from text or from “other sources“ but PDF is not one of them.
Office 365 version
Try under the new query button in the data tab menus. You will see “from file” there.

I just tried this on my own but I don't have the PDF feature w/in the "Data" tab in my 2019 Excel version. I tried doing this in my free-based 365 Excel but nothing there either. Do I have to pay for a 365 subscription to access the Data/PDF feature?
You can solve the problem by opening the PDF in Word and, after that, by copying (with a simple "copy and paste") the table in Excel

Nice video, can I ask a question? I had 4000 pages of pdf file, how can I import this data to excel? because my Ryzen 5 7535HS and my I3 11 series apparently couldnt do that much of import. Can still import it without split the PDF?

Yes, neither do I. I think this demonstration is for 365 Excel (premium, paid subscription). I have the 2019 Office suite. Disappointing.
