- Cycling Gettysburg Battlefield! Today we tour the historic American civil war battlefield in Pennsylvania on bicycle. My first of hopefully many cycling tours of battlefields and the civil war trails.

Yeah cold weather is awesome. Just dress properly and your GTG! And for those of us who brave the weather are often rewarded like we were on this day. A amazing location all to our selfies. That would NEVER happen in summer 😊 Thank you. 🙏

excellent tour and narrative on the history of the battlefield, a place where so many gave there life to your nation
War is terrible. Bloody. Sad and usually doesn’t do any good but still we romanticize it. I don’t know where that comes from. To be enamored with death and violence. But something about bravery that chokes me up. Not to mention the landscape. Trying to envision just what happened in an exact spot we now stand. I’m just drawn to it.
