I understand many cases we use past participles as adjectives , but I did not understand when you said, “passive voice is accomplished by combining past participle verbs with the verb ser”. I thought past participle of verb ser is sido. You said ser in the past tense is to fui , I thought fui is the past tense of the verb ‘ir’ . Didn’t understand. Please explain.
'fui' is the past tense of both verbs 'ser' and 'ir'. I went = yo fui, I was = yo fui another example: Yo fui un profesor. = I was a professor. Yo fui a un profesor. = I went to a teacher. I hope this helped you

She's great at her job, excellent presenter.

This is confusing. Fui is not an English equivalent of I was . I thought ‘ Yo fui’ means I went . I didn’t understand that chart.
'fui' is the past tense of both verbs 'ser' and 'ir'. I went = yo fui, I was = yo fui
another example: Yo fui un profesor. = I was a professor.
Yo fui a un profesor. = I went to a teacher.
I hope this helped you
