Dimash is a Warrior for Peace. With his Heart and Soul, his "will" will meld into all who has an Open Heart to Hear. This mini film is meant to be shared with the World.
I highly recommend watching Dimash's Live Almaty Stranger Concert. It's over 3 hours long and has been uploaded to RUclips in 3 parts. This extraordinary production by Dimash's parent company, DIMASHALI, was held outdoors in a very large stadium. He was blessed with good weather. 🤗

This is all the brainchild of Dimash. He wrote the screenplay from his vision and also wrote the dialogue and worked very closely with the director to get ut exactly how he saw it in his mind. He composed the music and had his words put into English lyrics. He orchestrated the whole piece and helped the soloist musicians get it right by imitating the instruments with his vocals. This work was gradually worked in for three years in between many solo concerts and other performances around the world, so a total labour of love from our Dimash. This message of love and peace throughout the world is extremely important to Dimash. Its a true masterpiece. He is now enrolled at the New York Film Academy LA branch to study filmmaking and Directing which will give him yet another university qualification to add to his already impressive amount of degrees and qualifications. He us a huge advocate of education ✨️
This masterpiece has shaken all of us, it is a plea for peace, Dimash scream is a desperate call to think for ourselves and change our sad destiny if we continue to follow mistaken leaders or symbols that just divide us and have made us lose the horizon. Love is the answer to live a better and fair life for everybody. What a pain to see us, as humanity, reflected in this MV. 🥹🥲🌹💔🎤🔝

I'm glad that you noticed Dimash ias the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he first appeared from under the roof, and also when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that?
Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace and harmony, through his music, MVs and many charities he dedicates his time to. He is a Legend and will go down in History.
The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was made by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The Piper grew up and started a war, using the symbol of the necklace as the crest on his army uniform.
This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it:
1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end.
2) The Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end.
3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son at the end, who inherited the necklace from his mother…, they were all torn by the war.
For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim, Shepard or Wise Man at the end of the video was Dimash’s newborn son, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love and harmony.

The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But indispensable and simply indescribable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps.
He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay.
The premiere was on September 24, 2022.
As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is.
Dimash was the littel boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. And she gave birth to her second child in the video. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. But violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby (and not the dead Dimash walking in afterlife) that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace.

Btw, Dimash has received an Award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song there in connection with the congress before the premiere.
He also recently gave a speech at the first Central Asian Media Forum, in which he once again strongly advocated peace. You can see it with English subtitles.

This song is a "modern" multicultural interfaith Requiem (the traditional Requiem is a song for the Mass of the Dead in the Catholic Church. The best known requiem is by Mozart I think). The Requiem usually has 2 parts: one mourning death and the other celebrating life.
Dimash says in a low voice: Адам керуен, өмір жол. Man is a caravan, life is a road. (Kazakh proverb)
So for me, the caravan is his (and our) inner world. Religiosity is in us, the religious man dies when a part of the soldier (Dimash) dies when he finds his daughter dead. So when he seeks revenge, there's a storm. Death follows death: Piper dies but the soldier (Dimash) dies too. Death is not the answer. His son joins others in seeking peace. That is the final answer.

These are my views on this amazing masterpiece Story of One Sky - I have watched this many times and still find things out that i never thought of amazing video and i have said it before if anyone could bring peace i strongly believe Dimash could make it possible. This needs to be shared worldwide to show people there is another way. War is never the answer because the only ones to suffer are the innocent. Rewatched the song of Dimash today one line stood out to me One of the most profound lines in The Story of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER.
The boy who was drowning was (Dimash's character as a child) made the necklaces that were given to the girl who grew up to be (Dimash's pregnant wife) and the boy who saved him who (grew up to be the military leader), possibly out of jealousy. The military leader waged his war The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end!!! The Dimash at the end can also be seen as Dimash in the afterlife leading others to the light in peace.
The This video needs to be shown worldwide. Something else i noticed is in his dying breath he sang (We're Choosing Life) as he finally passed away now that is powerful

Que se pasea por todas las notas del piano. DIMASH es de Kasajiskan que queda entre China y Rusia.
Comenzó sus estudios clásicos a la edad de 5 años y de joven se graduó con honores de la Universidad Nacional de Kazajy .

Great screenplay and acting by Dimash. Not to mention the great music that Dimash composed! This music video cost Dimash over 7 million USD of his own money. Of course he worked with the best filmmakers in Russia to bring his vision to life!
My take on the story:
It’s the story of three childhood friends who are all joined by the symbol of the necklace. Dimash as a child (the tallest boy, Dimash is tall!), saves the boy, who eventually became the Dictator. Dimash married the girl from his childhood, they have a daughter who was killed in the war. Dimash kills his childhood friend, (the dictator) who he saved from drowning when they were children. The Dictator’s soldier’s kill Dimash. Dimash’s wife gives birth to their son, his father’s necklace is passed down to him. It’s Dimash’s son at the end leading all people and all religions to peace (Throughout the video when Dimash is singing in a Middle Eastern style, that’s flash forward to the future, where the people of all religions are being led in peace, by Dimash’s son who was born in the movie).

My response focuses on a heartbroken, frustrated & downright angry young man's urgent 🆘 message, not the phenomenal vocals he ordinarily is lauded for as this is what Dimash has instructed us to do, as well as, to promote it by sharing it far & wide & no one will not be allowed to react and/or share this one! My understanding is that there will be no blocking by him or his team! If you are blocked please let me know. DQ wants it shared and a global dialogue to ensue on how to establish & keep a "World Without War!"
There's a lot to unpack & dependent upon a person's frame of reference, their interpretation of the video & DQ's message will undoubtedly be colored by their own preconceptions & life experiences, etc. My interpretation of his message this far is as follows:
DQ's phenomenal 9-23-22 Almaty live performance of this composition and this MV are prophetic masterpieces of transcendental pro-planet/antiwar art activism & downright spiritual experiences wherein Dimash issues a sincere, passionate yet, heartbreaking call to action to "learn to love" one another again as we were taught as children & to stop --- all conflicts, all aggression, all wars --- for the real fight before us requires us to unite globally & engage in the fight to save our Mother Earth, "the sacred womb" from which all life sprung!
Let us shun our "failing [self-serving Pied] Piper leaders" whose lunacy continues to lead us all to our mutual ruin & destruction by ignoring our species' fate as the "tightening noose" of climate change, hunger, poverty perpetually worsens whilst our "crazy leaders" instead waste precious time, limited resources & countless lives by choosing to "lead us to the slaughter" of these senseless, endless wars!

The verse that states we must "learn to share again the love, not shares" I believe means we must re-learn how to share our love in real time, person-to-person via one-on-one human connection in meaningful ways thru in-person acts of kindness such as compassionately, caring for the actual basic human needs of others or those that are emotional or physical in nature; all of which builds strong friendships, communities, nations and even friendships between nations unlike the superficial virtual "shares" that may be important only to one person's social media status & very well imaginary.
DQ asks us to "learn to live again" as "we have passed the moment of "Imagine" (which is clearly a reference to Lennon's iconic song written of the utopia he dreamed of) & the "world as the feast" I believe means we as a species have caused so much irreparable damage to the planet resulting in droughts & famine that we are long passed former times of plenty & now must work very hard together to overcome our limited, finite resources or "Do we have to starve?" I feel as if DQ is asking us "what's it going to take" for us to "WAKE UP?" Children are (and have long been) dying of famine NOW.
Further, DQ proclaims THIS is OUR LAST CHANCE, and that we must immediately act as there's "not a moment to lose" before either the Earth implodes or some crazed "Pied Piper" releases nuclear Armageddon upon the world!

All I can say for certain is DQ's awesome LIVE and MV performances of this incredible composition of his has created the global dialogue seeking to understand it, each other and ourselves and has done more to promote a culture of tolerance he speaks of in his message at the end of the video than any other artistry I've witnessed in my 64 years of walking the planet! 🌏💚 He's successfully started the convo and it is up to us to keep it going by spreading this video & respectfully engaging with any & all so that we might unite in our common desire for peace under our shared one sky, Dears!
You must watch this MV with an open mind & heart coming from a mindset of love & solidarity. I don't share the majority's view that Dimash survives nor is that his grownup baby born as he died at the end of the video. The video's progression follows the song's & builds in intensity as the pilgrims of all faiths continue their march upwards on a parallel spiritual plane & climaxes as the pilgrims experience a physical struggle with nature in the form of intense storm similar to the spiritual storm DQ experiences with the murder of his beloved daughter that is more than he can bear & his choice to seek revenge against his former friend who had long ago saved his life but who had chosen a dark & evil path. It is only after he has purged his spirit of the desire for revenge & killed his enemy (who had indeed become the enemy of humanity) & then DQ himself was subsequently killed by enemy soldiers did DQ's character's soul scream out from his watery grave that humanity has only one choice and #WeReChoosingLife !!
In death his spirit joins the other spiritual pilgrims in their ascension to the One God we've all worshipped in our own ways through our own religions guided by our own prophets ever since the beginning of Creation. The journey for DQ & his fellow seekers continues on as what appears to be the morning of a hopeful new day is dawning. His infant child remains in the material world left only with his mother's talisman yet grows into a prophet who leads the people to peace, according to the music video's director; a theme that is not in conflict with my understanding of DQ's character's spiritual journey.
Listen as Muslim, Buddhist, Jewish, Christian voices intertwine into the One Voice that sings our shared Prayer to the One God. DQs virtuosity is spiritual in nature; he touches souls and changes hearts with his divine vocals.
We must awaken spiritually. We must raise our collective human consciousness, unite, be as ONE --- live and let live --- & understand our shared fate under our shared sky. "Can we balance on the edge of a fiery grave" with all these competing self-interests & is it even possible to save our future on this planet? To avert our own extinction & achieve that utopian peace we all desperately need to survive as a species so that we might enjoy peaceful, prosperous lifetimes for ourselves & future generations, DQ begs us to #ChooseLife UNITE!
Dimash is a empathetic, lyrical genius whose virtuosity serves as a conduit for the pure & wondrous light of Heaven as well as the pain & suffering of our human Hells-on-Earth (many of our own making); he is the most excellent ambassador for a peaceful planet & our survival we could ever envision in his childlike altruistic nature & unconditional love. #WeAreChoosingLife ☸✡☪✝🕉☯☮ #SaveTheEarth 🌏🌍🌎#SaveAllChildren

Dimash is the most complete artist in the world and also a human being full of values, a man with deep convictions, who shows us that despite the banality that floods music today, it is possible to make a radical change and return to music with spirit Four years after following his career, I am still surprised by the quality of his art, the delivery on and off stage and the tremendous projection that our beloved artist has. Gran obra, del mayor Embajador de la Paz, de la unión, hermandad, unidad ,empatía hacia nuestro prójimo, tiene un gran significado, no sólo de las guerras, sino de nuestras propias guerras, como familia,cómo vecinos, él siempre remarca lo qué dice en la palabra de Dios " Ama a tú prójimo cómo a tí mismo"", si hubiera más amor no habría tanta maldad, tanto odio,y no nos dejaríamos manejar por los poderosos qué por ambiciones de poder desmedidas,matan a personas inocentes,destruyen, torturan, a muchos pueblos.

More movie details:
(1) The three (children) and the two boys disputed the girl's attention;
(2) The character (which Dimash represents as an adult) created a symbol to confirm friendship between the three, after being saved by his friend;
(3) Still in the video we see the girl choose "Dimash" and then they get married and have the little girl (who was killed) as a daughter and the mother is pregnant with another boy;
(4) The older boy (who saved "Dimash" from drowning) does not accept being abandoned by the girl and becomes a dictator president/general;
(5) Dimash becomes a soldier who decides to return from combat to protect his war refugee family;
(6) Dimash finds his daughter dead and thinks that his wife had also died, so he decides to take revenge on his friend;
(7) He kills the dictator and is killed regretting the violence he committed in life;
(8) Dimash's wife is welcomed by people of different religions who agree that Dimash's son is someone special;
(9) The wife dies in childbirth and Dimash's son becomes a leader who leads the refugees to a better place, of tolerance, respect and acceptance.

I just LOVE your reviews to our multi-talented Prince. This masterpiece got him a full scholarship in Ca for the NY Film Academy. This took him 3 years to create and it's amazing. It's definitely not recognized enough, though. How sad. I would love to see you react to him actually singing this in Almaty. It's incredible, the powerhouse that he is!
Hi, long time not see. You are Dimash's dear for almost 5 years. I still remember your first reaction. You absolutely must watch this song live performance at the Almaty concert in his native Kazakhstan last month. The concert was over three hours long and this song was almost at the end of the concert. The song is over 10 minutes long and he sang it like it was nothing. Работа всех участников съёмочной группы, музыкантов, - всё в превосходной степени. Рекомендую также посмотреть живое выступление с концерта в Алмы-Аты.Это вообще на разрыв аорты. Главное - это мощнейший посыл к прекращению войн ! Одного не учёл ДИМАШ : в нынешней ситуации речи диктатора хотелось бы услышать на русском языке для полноты эффекта данного мини-фильма. Один сумасшедший роzzийский лидер, так же как в этом фильме воинствующий диктатор, - путин развязал чудовищную войну против соседнего суверенного государства Украины под надуманным предлогом защиты своей страны от мифического врага. ДИМАШ как будто побывал на войне в Украине !
