So glad to hear about the future handhelds coming with SteamOS. I loaded Bazzite on my Legion Go and haven't looked back. Windows does not belong on handhelds.

@rodrigokokito2014 Thanks for the input buddy. I don't wanna complain, but I would think that as a Major company like Lenovo.. That's the least they could do for $699 plus tax.
OS updates are not the issue on windows, it’s the device specific drivers that are. I don’t think it will be much different with steamOS: if Lenovo doesn’t keep up with driver updates I doubt Valve will develop them for Lenovo. So you’ll have updates for the OS, but the drivers will stall like they have been doing for the Legion Go since launch.
ngl when Valve finally pulls off Proton for ARM devices, future LAN parties are gonna be so wild when everyone rocks handheld pcs and high-spec phones and tablets.
Nice to finally see an official Steam OS alternative handheld. Really hoping this will kick off more devices having official driver and firmware support in Linux world.
Haha! Love the ad, and the work you contribute to Lenovo Sir! It was cause of the Legion Go that helped my channel get that boost of viewing numbers. Can't wait for the next rendition of this amazing product.
Really creative marketing Lenovo keep this up! I love my OG Go running dual boot Windows and Bazzite. Looking forward to official SteamOS support and glad to know Lenovo is growing in the handheld pc space. Awesome!
Even though I hate not having the clippable controllers ? I Love steam os deployed on more platforms. Only thing I can criticise ? Is the screen still switched on when on the dock. Unlike the switch, need to fix that or put the console screen on as an option.
They probably left the screen on for advertising purposes. When my Steam Deck is docked the screen is off (docked to a widescreen 1440p monitor or my 4k TV).
@@BilliamBusey obviously they don't need to make their own. I have a legion go I use with a egpu already. I was obviously just saying that a Lenovo branded and supported egpu for the legion go would be awesome. Egpus aren't a mainstream thing and Lenovo putting out one specifically for the legion go and actually throwing some money at marketing the egpu could shine a light on the category.
Looks promising with steamOS, but still very big machines. To be really portable, 6 inch screen and smaller chassis would be ideal… is this something only a ARM chip based machine could achieve ?
Hope to see this get a good global release, a 39k release in India woild go gangbusters, so would a 256gb version of this for some price sensitive markets
YES!!! I definitely want the one with the Steam OS installed. I was on the fence with buying the steam deck because it’s a bit dated but this solves that
Really hoping for thinner bezel and OLED screen. The Steam Deck OLED was a big improvement over the original Deck. Even though the OLED's screen size is only half an inch bigger, the thinner bezel is really noticeable and improves a lot of games.
Hi @loitersquadX, the Legion Go S will have more power and should run games more smoothly . This is a way in which the new Legion Go S differs. There is no built-in kickstand, regardless of if you have the Windows 11 or SteamOS models, and the controllers cannot be removed. Addie_Lenovo
@@lenovolegion thanks for the reply I own the legion go right now and I love it but if this is more powerful I will be buying it for my wife and I day 1 last question, what will be the benefit of having steam os over windows? Pros and cons I guess
@loitersquadX steam os runs smooth and operates well on handheld.... but if you use other gaming services, like game pass or epic games, then you're better off with windows.
so we got a little to none updates for the OG lenovo Legion Go, we asked a lot of times for them to release some good system updates just like how steam doing with their steamdeck, but instead what we got is a new handheld where they can get another sales and ofcourse current users of LEGO gets frustrated again. So are OG lego users now gets more forgotten? i want to try your new hardware but it seems like you release yearly Lenovo, so forget it,you do what apple do now, ill wait for steamdeck 2 instead, unlike you guys they focus on optimization, coming from a LEGO user.
It would be more immersion if you included Vegas infinite since it's a a saloon with gambling, idk if that's for steam yet so 😂 , at the end I'm with the alien
I’ll get this one for the better performance I got the deck my bro got the go lol he put bazzite to have my experience 😅 but my other older bro was using windows on his go bc of Xbox pass, he sent it back after 1 week or so controller kept disconnecting mid game
It could have just as well been a Lenovo officially supported Linux distro, but SteamOS works. Just as long as that terrible windows on a handheld UX went away and we got an OS with *official support* Now, to talk about the battery....Can you guys sell a bigger aftermarket battery or a battery expansion set of some kind somehow? I hear the battery is the biggest complaint.

Dose Xbox game pass work on it ??
But it won’t e an xbox if it doesn’t have windows
@@anonymoushuman8443 I think it’s possible to run Xbox Cloud Gaming on the SteamOS
Why on earth would you buy a Legion Go to nerf half the capability? People buy it because it is a mini PC gaming handheld.
Does installing Bazzite improve the battery performance?
The Steam OS Go S is exactly what I'm looking for. May? Earlier please please please!!!

Legion Go S is here! Now the Legion Go 2 is next!
This is a very creative trailer for the device. I love it!
Loved the legion go and excited to see what they have in store
Multiplayer Games with crossplay together with consoles would make handheld pcs goated
They already exist, so long as the companies allow it
@ Im thinking more like steam deck exclusive crossplay with consoles, because pc crossplay does have an unfair advantage against controllers.
@Can_MT09 there are ways to enforce controllers, but people will just create devices to turn mouse-input to joystick etc.
This trailer is CLEANN!
Can we get some consistent updates?
it will be up to valve now. Niceee
Valve is doing the updates you will be gucci
@rodrigokokito2014 Thanks for the input buddy. I don't wanna complain, but I would think that as a Major company like Lenovo.. That's the least they could do for $699 plus tax.
Valve confirmed SteamOS on the Go S will receive updates at the same time as the Deck.
OS updates are not the issue on windows, it’s the device specific drivers that are. Steam OS? Now you’ve convinced me. I want it.
same here because SteamOS are best operation system for gaming handheld, bro

I wonder if the box the alien was carrying was hinting at a legion go egpu. That would be absolutely insane.
that or the rumored steam machine remake
